Baby Boy (Turquoise) - Mo's Digital Pencil

Good morning everyone from a freezing North East England. My card today is one of the commissions I made last week, I did one for a girl too but didn't get a chance to take a photo.
This is 'Baby boy' from Mo's Digital Pencil, my fav baby pic (along with the baby girl)

For a change I have only used Marianne die cuts, love that square and ribbon border. The card I used is coredinations and rainbow mirror board. Flowers from WOC, ribbon corner and pearl fronds from my stash. Sentiment is computer generated.

He is of course coloured with Promarkers, Flexmarkers and Prisma pencils, with a little distress ink around him.

I hadn't finished the inside when I took the pics but it matched the front.

I even decorated the box to match. I love the way this die inks up to show off the details.
The box btw is an 8x8" from  Tracey Payne at Crafteezee, really fantastic strong boxes and so easy to make up. (She also does 6 3/4" square boxes and 6" square enveloboxes) much stronger than I could have made.

Fishing Buddies - Lily of the Valley

Well here's a surprise for you, two posts in one day, unheard of from me, but I made this a couple of days ago and couldn't get a good photo.
I have used a really cute image from LOTV 'Fishing Buddies'.

She is cut using SB labels 18 with a floral oval backing and Holly corner and leaves. Backing paper and sentiment from LOTV. Ribbon and pearls from my stash. Charm and buckle from My Crafty Heart. Flowers from WOC. All backing is core'dinations card.

She is coloured as always with Promarker, Flexmarkers and a little Prisma Pencils. I also added distress ink for the sky and to the backing paper.

I added liberal amounts of glamour dust and then flowersoft to her fur. Liquid pearls were added to the falling snow.

The inside reflects the front.

Thanks for taking the time to look at my blog. Huge appologies for any posts I may have missed, now going to try and catch up.

Santa Cute Helper - The Paper Shelter

Good morning everyone and welcome to my new follower Judy who makes some fantastic cards with amazing colouring.

Sorry that it's been a week since I last appeared but I have been working on a lot of commissioned cards and as it was my week to work have been unable to take pictures as it's dark before I go to work and dark when I get back. I should have that solved this week as I have ordered a new 'day light' lamp which it hope will be bright enough.

So onto today's card which is for The Paper Shelter DT and is 'Santa Cute Helper'.  I don't know if you are like me but I love bargains and if you pop over to the site we have Christmas specials on sale now.

She is cut with SB ovals with a faux nestie behind her. I added a Marianne icicle border and tree and a cuttlebug snowflake. Ribbon from my stash.

She is coloured with Promarkers and Flexmarkers

I added tons of glamour dust around her and to the icicles and snowflake.  Then flowersoft to her fur and to the tree. Then added liquid pearls as ornaments on the tree.
Sorry for the quality of the pics as they were taken with a daylight lamp that just isn't bright enough for the true colours and doesn't really show the sparkle

I hope you will join us in this weeks challenge 'Christmas is Coming' where of course we have a prize of $30 to spend on site if you used a TPS image or 3 digi's of your choice for any other image

Home from Home - Sheena Douglas

Good morning everyone and welcome to my new follower Teresa who owns a fantastic shop called My Crafty Heart and also makes beautiful cards.

Today's card is for the Passion for Promarkers challenge #176 'Colour on Kraft'.  Have to admit this isn't something I have tried before and I did cheat a little by adding some Picket Fence Distress stain to the windows and some of the snow before colouring.  I used a beautiful stamp from Sheena Douglas's A little bit festive range 'Home from Home'.

The image is just straight cut and mounted onto matt gold mirror board. The backing is embossed with a Desire dots folder onto Cordinations Kraft core by Tim Holts, and then sanded. I also distressed around this. I added a Marriane Christmas tree, a SB poinsettia and ribbon banner and a MB Frosty border.  Gems and ribbon from my stash, and a peel off sentiment.

I coloured of course with Promarkers and distress ink to the sky, then added loads of white sparkle glitter for the snow.  Think I went a little mad with all the gems for stars in the sky and ornaments on the tree :)

I hadn't finished the inside when I took the pics but it now matches the front.

I hope you will have a go at something that is a little different and join us this week in our challenge where our sponsor is the lovely Joanna Sheen who is offering a £10 gift voucher.

Zella - Saturated Canary

Good morning everyone. Sorry I've been lacking posts but I have been working on lots of commissioned Christmas cards and still have more to make, unfortunately some are copies of cards I have already made.
I'm back with another Saturated Canary image. It's one of Krista's new ones and I just couldn't resist.

She is on an 8 x 8 card and is cut with SB grand ovals and matted onto 2 layers of grand decorative ovals using Bazzill basics and matt silver mirror board. I also added a lattice border and corners. The backing paper is from Nitwits. Flowers from WOC, ribbons and gem flowers from my stash.  Charm, resin flower and pearls from My Crafty Heart. Leaves are my fav MS punch.  The sentiment is LOTV and mounted onto a SB labels 18. It's hard to see it but I also added blue glitter around her frame.

She is of course coloured with Promarkers, Flexmarkers and Prisma pencils with distress ink added to the background. I also added some stickles to the top of her dress, and some glossy accents to her paintbrush.

I added lots of ribbon to the inside and a panel for the greeting.

MuchaInfluence Winter - The Paper Shelter

Good morning everyone. I am here today with a card for The Paper Shelter DT.  I loved colouring this image 'MuchaInfluence Winter' from The Paper Shelter. She has such a sweet expression.
The original pre coloured image is green but I thought winter is blue so I changed it. I took the backing paper into My Craft Studio and made it blue. Apologies to Veronica if this changes it too much. Apologies as this is a pic heavy post.

Our challenge this week is 'Easily does it with a Christmas theme'. So make an easel card. These really are hard to photograph.

I took the backing and made it blue and then added her to the centre and coloured her to match with Promarkers, Flexmarkers and a touch of Prisma pencils. I added Bazzill basics and silver mirror board as mounts, rounding the corners with an xcut corner cutter.

I added loads of Glamour Dust around the oval and flowersoft to the snow. The snowflakes are from a MS punch around the page.

Flowers from WOC, leaves, gems and ribbon from my stash. Loads of Stardust stickles added to the flowers.Just wish I could get the sparkle to show on my pics :(

Merry Christmas ribbon added the sentiment.

It's an 8 x 8 card as I felt I didn't want to squish the beautiful image.

Now don't forget the prize this week as always is $30 to spend in the store if you use a TPS image or 3 digi's of your choice with any other image.

I hope you hop over to the blog to see the fabulous creations the DT have made for your inspiration.

Thank you all for taking the time to look at my card.

Oriental Poppy - Just Inklined

Good eventing everyone. I'm here with one I wanted to post yesterday for Remembrance Day but the light got me. By the time I had finished it the light had gone. So this is my tribute to all the men and women who have fought and died for this country, and those who continue to fight to keep us as the free nation we are.
Tonight I give you Oriental Poppy by Just Inklined, I bought it ages ago as I love poppies.

I coloured it up ages ago but was still too late to post yesterday :(  As I used such a fancy Marianne Creatable die cut behind it I didn't think it needed more flowers.  The centre panel is cut with SB Lacey Ovals.  I matted onto gold mirror board and card from my stash.

It is coloured as always with Promarkers and Flexmarkers with a little Prisma pencil to highlight a little.

My only other addition was a few pearls and some Antique Linen distress ink.

The inside really does reflect the front this time.

Thank you so much for taking the time to look and thanks to the men and women out there who keep us safe.

Winter Fairy - Sylvia Zet

Good morning everyone. Today sees the start of a new challenge at Passion for Promarkers 'In the Garden' As long as your card has something on it that would be in a garden it will be eligible. Don’t forget to be eligible for our prize draw you must use your Letraset products (i.e. pro, flex, aqua, tria, metallic or neon markers) and of course follow the theme.

So onto my card. I only realised after I had photographed it that I had forgotten to add pearls to the holly in red but by that time yesterday the light had gone so it was too late to take more pictures :(

This beautiful image is by Sylvia Zet and is available as a digital image from her store or in rubber from Wee Stamps. It's a fairly simple card for me. The backing paper is printed from a CC cd. She is cut with SB grand circles with a faux nestie behind her. The border is again SB's holly border cut from glitter card. Flowers from WOC and leaves are a MS punch.

She is of course coloured with Promarkers, Flexmarkers and Prisma pencils. I added stickles to her wings and wand, Glamour dust to the snow and Flowersoft to the 'fur' on her coat, boots and earmuffs. I also added distress ink to her background.

The inside reflects the front.

Our sponsor this week is Letraset and they are offering one lucky winner a New Promarker collector’s set.

Ella in Trouble - Mo's Digital Pencil

Good afternoon everyone. Back with another card. I bought this Mo Manning image ages ago and have finally gotten around to using her.

Isn't she just the cutest thing and how many of us have seen this in real life? I used a Boofle backing paper and mounted it onto bazzill card. She is cut using SB labels 3 with a faux nestie to frame it. Ribbon and buckle from Mei Flower and flowers from WOC. The butterflies and leaves are MS punches and corners are from Whimsy. Pearls and lace from my stash.

She is coloured as always with Promarker, Flexmarkers and Prisma pencils and I did add some Sakura pens for a little sparkle. I also added spun sugar distress ink.

I added Glamour Dust to the butterflies and corners, and a liberal coating of stickles to the flowers. The inside reflects the front.
