Snow Day - Mo's Digital Pencil - Passion for Promarkers DT

Good evening and sorry to be late showcasing a card for the new challenge at Passion for Promarkers this week. Our theme chosen by  Shelly is 'Patchwork'. So we want to see either patchwork backgrounds, sewing patchwork or make your own patchwork, it's up to you how you interpret this.
I have used a Mo's Digital Pencil image 'Snow Day' and made my patchwork using LOTV papers.

I cut him using a Tonic rectangle die with a scalloped rectangle behind him.  The 'patchwork' squares are cut using the die that comes in their latest patchwork release. Even though it embosses a stitched edge I added doodles for a little more emphasis.

He is coloured using Triamarkers, Flexmarkers and Promarkers, and I added flower soft and glamour dust to the fur on his outfit. Everything is backed with rainbow mirror card.

This shows the inside where it mirrors the outside. The sentiment and candle are I think from Crafter's Companion or were a gift on a magazine :)

We are being sponsored this week by Little Claire Designs who are offering the
winner a 'Quirky Quilts' paper pack as a prize.

Traditional Christmas Card - Winter Wonderland DT

Good morning.  Today is the start of a new challenge at Winter Wonderland 'A traditonal Christmas' project.  The lovely Andrea is our host this week.
For mine I haven't done any colouring and have used die cuts for the image.

I have used the traditional colours of red and green and gold.
The backing paper is from LOTV, and I have use the candle die from Memory Box.  The poinsettia is from Spellbinders and the Sentiment is by Crafts Too. Ribbon and pears from my stash and I have used glossy accents on the candle flame, and Nuvo drops on the holly berries.

This is a view of the inside where I have added a WRS Xmas frame, a Crafters Companion Sentiment and 2 Christmas from Marianne Designs, and cut from green glitter card. I added glamour dust and lots of Nuvo drops as decoration for the trees.

We are being sponsored this week by Di's Digi Stamps

and the lucky winner will win $12 to spend in store.

The other 'Snowflakes' ladies have created some beautiful traditional cards for your inspiration this week and you can view them here.

Snow Queen - Sassy studio Designs

Good morning I am back today with a 'just for fun' card. I have used Snow Queen from Sassy Studio Designs which I think makes a perfect Christmas card that Disney fans would love.

I have fussy cut the image and mounted her on a WRS Christmas Frame.  The backing paper is cordinations card with a layer of glittered parchment over it. I cut the corners, which are Marianne and Memory box dies, from glittered card stock. A little glamour dust on the frame. Ribbon, lace and sparkler from my stash.

She is coloured with Flexmarkers and Promarkers with a little Prisma pencil for emphasising the colours.

This one shows the inside and I have used a Crafts Too die for the sentiment, and again covered it with Glamour Dust.

Wish I could get the sparkle to show.

I am entering the following challenges :-

Starfish Mermaid - Aurora Wings - Passion for Promarkers DT

Good morning, today I am sharing a card for the new 'Passion for Promarkers' challenge which this week is hosted by Nic. She chose the theme 'All the trimmings' so we want to see lots of embellishments on your project.

I decided to make an easel card for a change. She is cut with TL circle dies. I alternated with cordinations circles.  The seahorse, fish and starfish are all MDF which I enamelled with different colours of Frantage and embossing powder. The seaweed is different 'branches' from my dies and some artificial moss. Ribbon charms and pearls from my stash.

I added loads of nuvo glitter and then nuvo drops to her hair ornament,  earrings, shell top and to the starfish.  She is coloured with Triamarkers, Flexmarkers and Promarkers.

This shows the base in more detail.

We are being sponsored this week by Polka doodles who are offering 2 images to the lucky winner this week. Twiggy and Toots Trimming the tree and Bauble wishes

Aren't they just the cutest !!!

Merry Christmas - Tonic Dies - Memory Box Dies - Winter Wonderland DT

Good morning and welcome to a new challenge at Winter Wonderland where Lynsey is our host this week and has chosen the theme 'Anything But Square.
I haven't used any digi's this week and have used die cuts to decorate my card.

I have used a plain purple card to mount my images.  I cut the main image with a Tonic Festive Flurry die from yet again Tesco's sticky back plastic (this is now not available and I wish I had bought more, then cut the snowflakes again with rainbow mirror card. I substituted the snowflakes in the die cut with the mirror board ones and layered up the one in the original cut.  The sentiment is a Memory Box Die. Ribbon and gems from my stash. I think I will be making more of these to send to my friends, as I really like how it turned out.

This is a view of the inside where I have used a Tonic Trailing Blossom die. The space for a greeting is cut with A Spellbinders Snowflake Frame and added Nuvo glitter to the edge. The background is matt silver mirror board.

We are being sponsored this week by Wild Rose Studio who are offering the lucky winner 3 stamps.

The snowflakes girls have made some fabulous cards for your inspiration this week and all so different. I hope you will take the time to check them out here. Don't forget your card has to be Christmas themed.

Oh my....................... I have just realised that my post for last Friday has been sitting waiting as a draft. My Sincere apologies, my brain must be more addled than usual. (I blame this on having to spend 2 nights in hosptial, having 2 unit of blood for anaemia. Still awaiting test results to find out what is causing it.)
The lastest challenge at Fussy and Fancy is 'Back to SchooI have used an image from Sassy Cheryl which comes as one of the images in the set 'Make the Grade, and is the opposite of the theme as it's called 'No more School', but I think it still works for this challenge. She is straight cut, as are all the layers.  The backing papers are Everyday Essentials from DCWV. Ribbon and card candi are from my stash, and the scrabble tiles are Hunkydory.
