Snowman Birdhouse - Crafty Sentiments - Winter Wonderland DT

Good morning, sorry I am a day late in posting this card, but I was in hospital for a couple of days and only got home last night.  This week at Winter Wonderland  Julie is our host and our theme is 'Create a Scene'.  I have used one of our sponsor's images 'Snowman Birdhouse' as the main feature on my card.

I used a masking technique to add the sky and the trees (Sheena Douglas) in the background.  The igloo die cut is from Yvonne Creations, Santa and sleigh from Cheery Lynne and faun from MB.  The sentiment is from Desire.  The silver sparkle backing is again from Tesco's book  sticky back plastic. I added Flower soft to the snowman and glossy accents to his nose buttons and eyes.  Under the igloo die cut I covered with Glamour Dust, and the gems are from my stash.

The inside of the card using a Wild Rose Studio frame and MB sentiment.

We are being sponsored this week by Crafty Sentiments who are offering 3 digi images of your choice to the winner.

The other Snowflakes girls have made some fabulous cards for your inspiration this week and they can be found here.

Fishing Buddies - LOTV - Passion for Promarkers DT

Good morning and welcome to my new follower. Today is the start of a new challenge at Passion for Promarkers where Lou has given us a sketch to follow.
A nice easy one.  I have made mine using 'Fishing Buddies' from LOTV.

All layers were straight cut and then rounded off with a corner punch.  The sentiment and papers are all from LOTV too.  A have a tip for anyone looking for sparkly papers where no glitter can rub off. Tesco are selling a range of sticky backed plastic (yes I remember the Blue Peter days :)) in their back to school range, I used the silver one here.  IRL it really does sparkle and is great for layering with.   The ribbon and dazzler are from my stash and the sparkly balls are from WOC.

I added Glamour dust to the falling snow, flower soft to her 'fur' and ice crystals to the snow.  Stickles to the stars, and glossy accents to the ice hole.  She is of course coloured with Triamarkers, Flexmarkers and Promarkers.

The inside does match the front of the card.

We are being sponsored this week by Digi Stamp Boutique who are offering a £10 voucher to spend in store.

We are very lucky to have a second sponsor in Letraset who are offering a prize of a set of 6 Promarkers in pastel tones

Tammi Buchaneer - Saturated Canary - The Beach and Pirate Ship - Make it crafty

Good afternoon. My share today is a card I completed a few weeks ago and combines 3 digital stamps.  My main image is Tammi Buchaneer from Saturated Canary and I combined the Pirate Ship and The Beach from Make it Crafty.

She is fussy cut and the layers are straight cut. The backing paper is from Nitwits and the coin, map and sword are from my stash.

I added glamour dust to the waves on the sea and around the sun and some glossy accents to the coins in her purse.
She is coloured with Triamarkers, Flexmarkers and Promarkers.

Still have problems getting the glitter to show in pictures.

I am entering the following challenges:-

All Our Yesterdays - Fay Whittaker - Fussy and Fancy DT

Good morning. Today sees the start of a new challenge at Fussy and Fancy where Beth has chosen the theme 'Lazy Summer Days', and what better than relaxing at the seaside.  But your entry can be of anything ie picnics, bbq's sport etc.  I have used an image from Fay Whittaker that I bought ages ago but thought it was appropriate. It's called 'All Our Yesterdays' and I certainly remember lots of days at the seaside.

The background is from an Adorable's Summer CD and is decoupaged with 3 layers and was pre coloured.  The outer layer is from Nitwits. I fussy cut the lady in the deckchair and the boy.  The lighthouse, bunting and anchor are from Cheery Lynn I think :) The sentiment is a Diesire die. The ribbon is from my stash.

They are coloured with Triamarkers, Flexmarkers and Promarkers.

I cut the bunting twice, the second layer being rainbow mirror board. I also added glossy accents the the sea.

We are being sponsored by Magnolia-lious who are offering a surprise to the winner
