Birthday Fairy - Tiddlyinks - Passion for Promarkers DT

Good morning hope you are seeing the sun more than we are in the North East. Today is the start of a new challenge at Passion for Promarkers where Shelly has chosen the theme 'Rainbows'.  This can be an actual rainbow or using the colours of a rainbow.
I must admit that you will problably need sunglasses to look at my card this week as I have gone a little overboard with the theme.  I used an image from Tiddlyinks 'Birthday fairy' and added a sentiment from another of their digi's.

She is straight cut and mounted onto 8 layers of card.  The separate rainbow is a MB die which I coloured then covered in matt varnish.  The background is airbrushed with my Ebrush. The pearls are from my stash, I did have to change the colours on a couple of them to get all the rainbow colours.

I also added glamour dust to her wings.  She is of course coloured with Triamarkers, Flexmarkers and Promarkers.

This is the inside which as usual reflects the front of the card.

We are being sponsored this week by Polka Doodles,

Polkadoodles
who are offering the winner these two gorgeous images

Christmas Candles - Winter Wonderland DT - Just Right - Memory Box

Good morning everyone. Today is the start of a new challenge at Winter Wonderland where lovely Lena is our host. Our theme this week is 'Anything but a card', so time to think a little out of the box.  I decided to decorate a couple of candles (still got another 6 to make).

I really love making these as they are so simple to do, but anyone who isn't a crafter thinks they are so special.  They are lovely scented candles from Asda.

This one has a scan of a Memory Box candle on it. I cut it in white and then coloured and scanned it.  The sentiment is computer generated too.

I found stamping onto tissue paper and trying to colour wasn't very successful as there was too much detail on this large stamp from Just Right, so again I stamped and coloured it as normal and then printed to tissue paper.

We are being sponsored this week by one of my favourite shops Crafts U Love

Who are offering a £10 voucher to the lucky winner.

The other Snowflake girls have made some beautiful examples to give you inspiration this week and you can find them here

Golfer - LOTV

Good morning and welcome to my new followers.  I was delighted to be invited to join the 'Fussy and Fancy' girls team, and look forward to working with them. (my first challenge isn't till July, but it's almost finished :) ).
Today I have a card that was commissioned by a friend who recently had her pregnancy confirmed, and much wanted and waited for baby.  Her partner plays golf so that was the theme she chose.  I have used and image from LOTV and teamed it up with some Nitwits papers.

He is cut using SB squares and grand squares. The sentiment is mounted onto a Radiant rectangle. I airbrushed the sky using my Ebrush. pearls from my stash.

He is coloured with Triamarkers, Flexmarkers and Promarkers and I added glossy accents to the golf clubs.

She sent me a beautiful verse to add to the inside and I added MB heart corners.

Birthday Surprise Boy - Mo's Digital Pencil - Passion for Promarkers DT

Good morning everyone, it's time for a new challenge at Passion for Promarkers where Nic has chosen the theme of 'masculine'. It was my great-great nephew's first birthday yesterday and here is one of the cards I made for him.  The image (Birthday Surprise Boy) is from 'Mo's Digital Pencil'.

He is cut using Tattered Lace circles. The layers are co-ordinations and the paper and ribbon are from my stash.  The text is a mixture of T.lace and Desire.  The stars are from a MB star border.

I just love the expression on his face as he tries to burst that balloon. He is coloured with Triamarkers, Flexmarkers and Promarkers.

This is a view of the inside where the sentiment is from  Crafts too and the train is a MB.

We are being sponsored this week by Sassy Studio designs who are offering 4 digi's to the lucky winner.

Christmas Star - LOTV - Winter Wonderland DT

Good morning everyone. Today is the start of a new challenge at Winter Wonderland where the lovely Carol is hosting the theme ' A touch of gold or silver' this can be your image or an embellishment.
I have used a LOTV stamp 'Christmas Star', one of my favourites.

I certainly used some silver mirror board on this one :). She is straight cut and mounted onto a WRS snowflake frame.  The poinsettia and holly branches are Sue Wilson dies. The sentiment is MB, ribbon from the Ribbon Girls and pearls from my stash.

She is coloured with Triamarkers, Flexmarkers and Promarkers. I added copious amounts of Glamour Dust to the stars, tree and ground, and added some flowersoft to it for the 'fur' on her coat.  The background was airbrushed with my EBrush.

Everything is mounted onto some navy shimmer card. IRL it really does look really sparkly.  I finally remembered to add some 'Stick it' (from Crafter's Companion) to the back of the card before cutting the dies. Really easy to use and no glue oozing out.

The inside does reflect the front .

We are being sponsored this week by the lovely Michele of MR Designs. She is offering the lucky winner a voucher for 20 euros to spend in store on her beautiful backing papers and embellishments

I hope you will take the time to visit the Winter Wonderland blog and also visit the other team snowflakes sites to see the fabulous cards they have made for your inspiration this week. Don't forget it has to be a Christmas project.

Carnation Love - Ching-Chou Kuik

Good afternoon. I'm back with another Ching-Chou Kuik image 'Carnation Love'.  This was generously given as a freebie to enter the facebook May challenge 'Flowers in Bloom' which can be found here.

She is fussy cut and mounted onto a background I created with 'Craft Artist'.  She is then mounted onto a SB labels 1 and Decorative labels 1 with a mixture of co-ordinations and mirror card. The sentiment is from LOTV mounted onto punched circles.  The flower is a MB  die.

She is coloured with Tria, Flex and Promarkers and I added glamour dust to her tail and to the moon.  She also has tiny pearls on her bracelet and hair comb.

The glitter and mirror card actually show on this one.

Peony - Ching-Chou Kuik

Good morning back today to show another Ching-Chou Kuik image, 'Peony'. I have to admit this one makes me think of Medieval times, she could be Lady Guinevere waiting for either King Arthur or is it Sir Lancelot?.....

She is straight cut and mounted onto a Tonic frame. I also cut the extra mount behind her using Tonic layering rectangles.  The lace die is from Tattered Lace and the sentiment is from Memory Box. Flowers from WOC, ribbon, pearls, dazzler and butterfly from my stash.  The backing papers are from Papermania.

She is coloured up with Tria, Flex and Promarkers, and I added glossy accents to her jewels.

The inside of the card with another Tonic frame as the focal point.

I am sorry these look a little dark but I gave up waiting for the sun to come out :)

Good morning and welcome to a new challenge at Passion for Promarkers where Marie has chosen the theme 'Come Fly with me' something with wings which can be fairies, airplanes butterflies etc, so lots of scope this week.
I have used a beautiful image from Polka doodles 'Octavia Rose', couldn't resist buying the whole collection.

I decided to make a centre stepper card  and even made the backing paper with the rose in the set.  She is cut using SB Grand labels 11 and mounted onto co-ordinations card. The sentiment is from LOTV and the ribbon, pearls and rose are from my stash.

She is coloured with Triamarkers, Flexmarkers and Promarkers and I added a little distress ink around the edges.  Of course it doesn't show but I added Nuvo glitter to her wings and the leaves, and glossy accents to the ladybirds.

This shows the back of the card where I added a JS butterfly spray.

We are being sponsored this week by 'A Day for Daisies' who are offering a $12 gift voucher to use in store.

Linnea Sprite - Aurora Wings

Good evening, rather late blog from me but I have just posted this one in the Aurora Wings challenge so had to blog it.
The lovely Mitzi, who is 'Aurora Wings' offered this image for free during the weekend when celebrating the 2 year anniversary.

She was such fun to colour up that a pink one will also be appearing soon :)
She is cut using Tonic rectangles and mounted onto co-ordinations card.  The DP is from DCWV. The flowers are all from WOC. Sentiment from LOTV and the leaf branch is a T.lace from the front of edition 18, there is also a T.lace border hiding under the flowers.  Pearls and ribbon from my stash.

Finally used my orange family of Flex/pro/tria markers, which haven't been out for a long time. I also added distress ink to the image and the paper. (another first never used the ripe persimmon before).

The inside showing the lace border and branch better.

A slightly different view.
