Rowan Fairy - Sylvia Zet - Wee Stamps - PFP DT

Good morning everyone, I hope your preparations for Christmas are going well seeing as the big day is tomorrow :).   The last challenge from Passion for Promarkers for the year 'Must include a sentiment' has been running for 2 weeks and it will run for another two weeks with lots of gorgeous prizes for the winners.
I made this card when the image 'Rowan Fairy' was first released and held it back for this challenge.

She is cut with SB Decorative Labels 8 and backed with a faux nestie. The corners are from Tattered Lace.  The butterfly is SB.  The flowers are all from WOC and the sentiment is LOTV. The fircones I collected from a tree outside work and coated them with Snowtex.  The ribbon, bells and gems are from my stash.

She is of course coloured with Promarkers, Flexmarkers and Triamarkers. I also added Prisma pencil for more definition.  The berries are all coated with glossy accents.

The inside does reflect the front.

Unforgettable Moment - The Paper Shelter - TPS DT

Good morning everyone. Hope you enjoyed our birthday blog hop and hope some of you are winners. Thank you for the comments you left for me.

Today is the start of our Christmas challenge at The Paper Shelter, but it doesn't have to be a Christmas card as the theme is anything goes.  This challenge will run for 3 weeks and unfortunately we will not be commenting on the entries as we are all having a break over the holiday period.

I decided to use 'Unforgettable Moment' and made her into a Christmas card.  I kept the embellishments to a minimum to try to save on postage.

I coloured her with Promarkers, Flexmarkers and Triamarkers with a little Prisma pencil for more depth.  She is then fussy cut.  The arch window frame is from Memory Box with LOTV paper behind it and glazed with Crafters Companion printed acetate. The corners, bow and backing papers are from my stash and the sentiment is a peel off.

Her earrings and broach have pearl drops added to them and some Sakura pen to bring out the gold.

The inside does match the front.

Our prize is back to normal a very generous $30 to spend in the shop for any project using a TPS image, or 3 digi's of your choice for any other image.

The other DT girls have made some fabulous cards for your inspiration and I hope you will pop over and view them.

Thanks for taking the time to look,  Hope you all have a fantastic Christmas.

The Lovely Ballerina - The Paper Shelter - The Paper Shelter 3rd Birthday Blog Hop - TPS DT

Good Morning fellow crafters and welcome to The Paper Shelter Blog Hop which is in celebration of their reaching their 3rd Birthday on December 8th. It will be a two week Challenge and both Design Teams are taking part.

The Hop is our way of inviting you to join in with us and this one is a  "Special Birthday" theme, which I know is extremely popular!!!! If you have landed here from Debs Blog then you're heading in the right direction - if not then you'll want to head on back to The Paper Shelter Challenge Blog to start again, as you'll not want to miss out on this one! Our Design Team have worked very hard and are showcasing the gorgeous images available from
The Paper Shelter  Website and each blog on the hop is offering one lucky commenter a digi of their choice as well as the main prize, details of which are on The Paper Shelter Challenge Blogspot.

I decided to use The Lovely Ballerina for my card this week. She is so girlie and has to be in pink

She is cut with SB Grand Lables 4 with a faux nestie behind her, and mounted onto Grand Decorative Labels 1 and Grand Labels 1.  The butterfly spray is from Joanna Sheen, single butterfly is SB and small individual butterflies are a MS punch. The leaf swirls are a Marianne creatable. Flowers from WOC and sentiment is a LOTV stamp mounted on a SB Lacey Circle. Ribbon, corner and pearls from my stash.

She is of course coloured with Promarkers, Flexmarkers, Triamarkers and Prisma pencils with distress ink added behind her.

The inside does match the front.

From here you will need to hop on over to Patty Sue's blog Don't forget to leave your comment for a chance of winning your choice of one of the fab digis available in store.
Hop! Hop! Hop!
Good luck and hope you're enjoying it so far.

Angelic Candle - LOTV - PFP DT

Oops for some reason my scheduled post hasn't appeared ???
 Well here it is.

Today is the start of a new challenge at Passion for Promarkers and the lovely Lou has decided to give you a sketch to work with.
I have used Angelic Candle from LOTV, an older image that I have had for ages and never gotten around to using.

She is cut with a SB Grand Oval, mounted onto a Grand Scalloped Oval.  The DP is from LOTV and everything is mounted onto co-ordinations card.  She is of course coloured with Promarkers, Flexmarkers, Triamarkers and I added distress ink to the background. I also added Sakura pens to the holly and stars andd lots of Glamour Dust to her wings and dress.

The inside does match the front. You may wonder why there is no sentiment, but that's because I have a personalised one to add.

No flowers either (saving on postage costs :) )

Our Sponsor this week is Whiff of Joy who are offering the winner a stamp of their choice

This is the template for the challenge

A nice easy one.  The other DT girls have made some fabulous creations to inspire you, I hope you will pop over and take a look.

Don't forget to enter the challenge you must use Letraset products (i.e. promarkers, flex markers, aqua markers, tria markers, metallic markers or neon markers)
Thanks for taking the time to look.

Coffee Break - The Paper Shelter - TPSDT

Good morning everyone, hope you are all well and getting sorted for Christmas.  This weeks challenge at The Paper Shelter is 'Shopping Spree'.  Unfortunately there are only a couple of images that fit the challenge so thinking out of the box I have an online shopper. (Have to admit I do that a lot, save all the hassle of crowds and freezing).
For today's challenge I have used the image 'Coffee Break' and made my own sentiment to fit the challenge.

A really simple design but I think it shows off the image well. She is cut with SB Lattice Rectangles and mounted on coordinations card. The ribbon and corners are from my stash.

She is coloured with Promarkers, Flexmarkers and Triamarkers with a little Prisma pencil for added details. I also added distress ink to the background.

The backing papers are from Dovecraft and I added glossy accents to her glasses and to the laptop.

The prize this week, as always is a $30 voucher if you use a paper shelter image, or 3 digis of your choice for any other image.

The other DT girls have made some fabulous cards for your inspiration, I hope you will pop over and see them.

Thanks for looking

Bride and Groom 2 - Mo's Digital Pencil

Good morning everyone. I thought I would share a card I made recently for a commission for a 25th Wedding Anniversary.  I love this Mo image and have used it before. It's 'Bride and Groom'.

The are cut using SB Grand Decorative Ovals, mounted onto a matt silver Grand Oval.  Those beautiful corners are from Tattered Lace and the heart border is from Joy Crafts. The rings are a Marianne die and the numbers are Desire dies. The pearls are from Hobby House.
The flowers are WOC and the ribbon, lace, charm and leaves are from my stash. The sentiment is LOTV.

They are of course coloured with Promarkers, Flexmarkers,Triamarkers and a little Prisma pencil with distress ink added to the background.

The inside does reflect the front.
