Rose Corners - Aurora Wings - Fussy and Fancy DT

Good morning. Wow did I have problems choosing the top 5 for the Autumn Colours challenge at Fussy and Fancy. Thanks to all who entered, so many beautiful projects.
Today is the start of a new challenge and the Amazing Jo has chosen the theme 'Flowers', they can be the main feature on your dp or just an addition to a project.  I have used another 2 Aurora Wings digi stamp's 'Rose Corners'.
This was a commissioned card and I have removed the name for blogging just in case she sees it before her birthday :)

Again I have straight cut my layers in co-ordinations card and embossed the matt gold mirror board with a Butterfly embossing folder.  I cut 4 extra sheets of the images and decoupaged them to add more depth to the card.  The flowers in the spray are all from LOTV. The butterfly is from Cheery Lynn. Gems and ribbons from my stash.

A close up of the image which was coloured with Flexmarkers and Promarkers and Prisma pencils.

A side view to show the decoupage and a glimps of the inside which reflects the front but also has a personalised message.

We are very lucky this week to have 2 fabulous sponsors. Magnolia-licious and Sweet Lilac flowers.  Details of the prizes are on the blog

OUR VERY GENEROUS SPONSORS!

Hazel - Sylvia Zet - Wee Stamps - Passion for Promarkers DT

Good morning and welcome to my blog.  Today is the start of a new challenge at Passion for Promarkers where I am the host this week.  Not everyone makes Halloween cards so I chose 'Spooky Birthday' as the theme for this challenge, and the cards can be used for anyone's birthday at this time of year.
I have used and image from Sylvia Zet, 'Hazel'. Would you believe I have had it for a couple of years and this the first time I have used her.

Normally when I fussy cut I go right up to the edge of the image, but this time I left a white border to make her really stand out. She is added to the backing paper I designed using Craft Artist. It's on a purple card and I added a rainbow mirror board to give a little shimmer.

She is coloured using Flexmarkers, Triamarkers and Promarkers and I did add a little Prisma pencil for more depth of colour.

The only other additions are some charms from my stash, and some nuvo  glitter around the moon and the ghost.

This shows the middle.

We are very honoured to have Bugaboo Stamps as our sponsor this week, and they are offering one lucky winner a $21 voucher to spend in store.

Katie - Elaine Cox - Sweet Pea Stamps

Good afternoon everyone. Today I am featuring the card I made for my sister's birthday.  She may have white hair now but was originally a 'Red Head', and this stamp reminded me of her.
This is 'Katie' by Elaine Cox, and I found her at Sweet Pea stamps.

This was a joy to colour, and I kept to an Autumn palate.  Every thing is straight cut and I used a leaf embossing folder from Crafter's Companion to create the background. The layers are co-ordinations papers and matt gold mirror board. Flowers from WOC and ribbon and gems from my stash.

I think she has the most amazing eyes .

This one shows the flowers  in profile, and a glimpse of the inside which matches the front.

I am entering the following challenges :-

Jingle Bells - Digi Stamp Boutique - Winter Wonderland DT

Ask me who doesn't know what week it is ???  The weeks just disappear now, probably because one is just like the other. Hopefully I will be getting back to work again soon or I will be brain dead by Christmas.
Today saw the start of a new challenge at Winter Wonderland where the theme this week is 'Jingle Bells',  you have to have a bell somewhere on your card/project, whether it is on the paper, image or an embellishment or charm.
I have used one of our sponsor's images this week from the Jingle Bells set. I think this mouse looks as if he has had too many glasses of sherry or too many mince pies and is totally cute.

He is straight cut and layered up with co-ordinations and matt gold mirror board.  The sentiment, bells, and snowflake flourishes are from Memory Box.  I embossed the background with an old snowflake stamp and Heat it up embossing powder 'tinsel sparkle', and a few gems from my stash.

This shows the details a little more. I added the green around the 'jingle' with a Sakura pen, and a few snowflakes which are the waste from a MS punch.

This is the inside where I added a sentiment from a magazine freebie.

So come on an join in this week, you know you just haven't made nearly enough Christmas cards yet.  If you pop over to the Winder Wonderland blog you will fine lots of inspiration from my other snowflake teamies.

Many thanks to Digi Stamp Boutique who are our generous sponsor this week

Ladybug Sprite - Aurora Wings

Good afternoon. I nearly missed posting for the Aurora Wings challenge which closes later today, so in by the skin of my teeth.

I coloured this one up when it was first released and it has been sitting waiting to be made into a card. It is the totally cute Ladybug sprite from Aurora Wings. The papers are all from Nitwits. Die cuts from SB. Sentiment from Diesire and ribbon flowers and ladybugs from my stash.

She is coloured with Flexmarkers, Triamarkers and Promarkers. The spots are all coated with  Glossy Accents and I added a little black Nuvo glitter on her 'eyes' and feelers and wink of stella around her eyes and on her wings.

This shows the inside.

And a side view to try to pick up the shine.

I am entering the following challenges :-

Aurora Wings Challenge Blog  challenge #18 - Anything goes.

Afternoon Stroll - LOTV - Passion for Promarkers DT

Good morning and welcome.  Today is the start of a new challenge at Passion for Promarkers where Anna has chosen the theme this week of 'Doodle'. I have to admit it's not something I usually do on cards so mine does look like doodles (I have seen cards with fake stitching where I couldn't tell if it was hand drawn or a stamp :))
I have used a LOTV stamp 'Afternoon Stroll' which I coloured up a while ago, and think is really 'cute', and I couldn't resist adding the sentiment .

Everything is jut straight cut and the papers are from Nitwits, all mounted on coordination's card.  The pearls and ribbon are from my stash.

It doesnt show very well in the photograph but the balloon is covered with glossy accents, and I added a little to the pram.

I coloured her with Flexmarkers, Triamarkers and Promarkers.

The inside does match the front of the card

We are being sponsored this week by Polkadoodles who are offering two digi stamps to the lucky winner, Fairy Kisses and Stardust.

Christmas Floral - Aurora Wings - Winter Wonderland DT

Good afternoon, and my apologies for being late in posting again.  Today is the start of a new challenge at Winter Wonderland, and lovely Lena has chosen the theme of Christmas Flowers, so  easy to play with this one.
I have used another Aurora Wings image, 'Christmas Floral'.  I really enjoyed colouring this one up and adding loads of Glamour Dust.

This is another one that I have kept fairly flat for posting, but I think the 'dazzler' may take it up to being a large envelope.  It is cut using a TL oval and the corners are from WRS and are coated with Glamour Dust.  I added ribbon and card candy from my stash, all mounted on matt gold mirror board.

A close up of the centre. I added some white gel pen to the red berries and to the orchids, and some Nuvo drop to the centre of the cream flowers.

The sentiment is a Desire one and I added some MB dies to the top corners.

We are being sponsored this week by Crafty Sentiment Designs and they are offering the lucky winner a choice of 3 digi stamps

Crafty Sentiments Designs

It seems if Christmas was only a couple of months ago and now it steadily rushing towards us again. So here is the perfect excuse to get another one made.  I hope you will enter the latest challenge and if you want some further inspiration my fellow 'Snowflakes' teamies have made some wonderful projects for you inspiration this week and you can find them here.

Grumpy Fae - Aurora Wings - Fussy and Fancy DT.

Good morning everyone. Today I am the host for the new challenge at 'Fussy and Fancy' challenge #149, and a nice easy one of 'Autumn Colours'

I have used an image from Mitzi 'Grumpy Fae' I just love the expression on her face.

She is cut using Tonic ovals and scalloped ovals. The toadstools are from Joanna Sheen and the ribbon is a Docrafts. Corner 'sprays' are a mixture of WOC apples and berries with the addition of SB leaves. The pearls are from my stash.

She is coloured with Promarkers, Flexmarkers and Triamarkers.  I airbrushed the sky behind her with my Ebrush. I also added Nuvo glitter to the leaves on her head and to her wings.  The little berries also had a coat of glossy accents. The mini pine cones were collected from outside the building I used to work in.

This shows the inside.

This side view shows the glitter a little better.

We are being sponsored this week by the lovely Mitzi of Aurora Wings

https://www.etsy.com/shop/AuroraWings

She is offering $15 to spend in her etsy shop to the lucky winner.

Her challenge blog has a theme of Anything Goes this month and I will certainly be entering with this card.

The other ladies at the 'Fussy and Fancy' challenge blog have made some fabulous projects for your inspiration this week, and I hope you will visit them.
