Winter - Crafty Sentiments -- Crafty Sentiments Guest Designer

Good morning,  and welcome to this week's Crafty Sentiments challenge.  I have made another  card blip where when it comes to  adding the right card for the right challenge.  This should have been added on Tuesday, and I thought it wasn't due until 14th.
Our theme this week chosen by Patricia is Winter (this can be anything to do with the season - Snowy scenes, Snowmen, penguins,  Santa etc.)

I have chosen to use Snowmen family and the picture looks to me like a mother and son.

I bought the window die
about 2 years a ago and I think it's from M.Box. the merry Christmas is definitely M.Box.
The image surrounding the frame is from another old favourite of mine (Crafters Companion Cute Christmas, using images from Jane Nestorenko) and the dark green Christmas mirror board is at least 2 years old . The window catch is 2 brads and a piece of sheering elastic.

A view of the inside of the front page featuring two really cute snowmen from Crafty Sentiments that can be found here. I added some Cheery Lynn snowflakes and then Glamour Dust, nevo black glitter, Flower Soft and then ice crystals.  The sky was created using my E-brush.

Now to get you really confused, This is the outside of the middle, again reflecting the front layout.

and this is the back of the middle layer, which uses freebies from magazines.

So there we are, something a little different from me.

Now to the gorgeous images you can win, if you enter

3 images if the winner used a Crafty Sentiments Designs image.

1 image only for a winner who has not used a Crafty Sentiments Designs Image.

1 image for our crafty sentiments favorite

We have some fabulous designs for your inspiration this week, which can be found here.

Arctic Friends - Saturated Canary - Passion for Promarkers DT

Good afternoon, hope it's better than here where we have hardly seen the sun for the passed  days.  I am here with a very late post for the challenge at Passion for promarkers, but better late than never.
I have used a Saturated  Canary image 'Arctic Friends' .

I debated whether a penguin really matched the theme as they can't fly even though they are classed as birds. (I had made one with 3 owls sitting in a tree, and then realised that it was a winter themed card that the challenge asked for.)
Back to this one, she is framed using a SB Gold Rectangles one die.and I added lots of die cuts.

A close up of the image. She is coloured using Flexmarkers,Triamarkers and Promarkers. I added Flower Soft and Glamour Dust to the trim on her coat. The snowflakes and moon are also enhanced using Glamour Dust, and I used a mix of ice crystals and Glamour Dust to the the snow she is standing on. The sky was created using my E-pen.

A side view trying to get the glitter to show. The icicles and snowflakes are Cheery Lynn. The largest tree is by Marianne dies, the 2 thinner ones from Joy crafts,
penguins are from Joanna Sheen, and I think the sentiment is from Britannia Dies

A view of the inside where I have used even more dies. The sleigh and reindeer's  are Cheery Lynn, sentiment from Crafters Companion, and the space for the sentiment and layers were cut using a Crafters Companion deckle-edge on their trimmer.

One last view where I think the black\white glitter show better on the penguins.
Sorry for such a long post.

Onto the new challenge, which has been set by Hazel from Team 1, and she has given us a gorgeous theme of ‘tweetmas wishes’.  Hazel would simply like you to make a Christmas creation using an image that includes a bird.  It doesn’t have to be the main image as long as there is a bird on there somewhere! Remember you can enter using any type of creation, it doesn’t have to be a card.  As always to be eligible for our prize draw you must use your Letraset products (promarkers, flex markers, tria markers, aqua markers or metallic markers) and of course follow the theme.  Please can you help us by stating which Letraset products you have used on your creation I.e. ‘coloured with promarkers’ etc

Our sponsor this week is
All Dressed Up stamps and they are offering one lucky winner 2 digi images of their choice from their online store.  They have so many gorgeous images to choose from you will be spoilt for choice!

Oak Tree Girl - Wee stamps - Fussy and Fancy DT.

Hello again, I am back with my Fussy and Fancy head on, and using another Wee stamp. I have so many stamps and digi's that have never been used that I have set myself a challenge to use them all. So today I have used Oak Tree Girl who I think is perfect for an autumn colours. Our theme this week and hosted by Jo is 'Shades of Autumn'

She is cut using Tattered lace circles, and the leaves are from Spellbinders. I added Nuvo glitter to them, either high lighting the whole leaf or adding it to the veins. The ribbon, dazzler  and pearls are from my stash. The Sentiment is computer generated and gilded using my Minc machine.

A view of the inside. (It took me ages to work out how to add the song words in a circle)

The metal embellishments are from Wild Orchid Crafts

We are being sponsored this week by ~Wild Orchid Crafts.
They are offering the winner a £15 voucher to spend in store.

It always amazes me that they have such a huge catalogue of stock. I started with an A4 box for the flowers and it has now grown to a 64 litre really useful one, but isn't it always the case that you never have the colour you need.

Frosty/All wrapped up - Marianne designs - Bugaboo stamps - Winter Wonderland DT

Good morning, and welcome to my first challenge for the day. At Winter Wonderland Marie is the hostess and she has chosen the themes of 'Frosty' (which can be cold colours ie blue silver and white, lots of sparkly snow, or even snowmen or polar bears) or the alternative theme of 'Well wrapped up'.

I have chosen 'Miss Frosty' from Wee stamps as my image. She is straight cut and layered up with co-ordinations card. The backing paper is from Nitwits. The holly is from Sue Wilson, and I love the fact that she does an image and a reversed image of all the leaves she has designed, I think I have all of them :)

The sentiment is from Britannia dies (I think). The ribbons, brad and pearls are from my stash. I also added Nuvo drops to the holly sprays, Glossy accents to the berries, and Button. Glamour dust to the bird house and fur trim and ice crystals to the snow.

A close up of the image. I just used Flex markers for the sky, and distress ink around the panels.

A view of the inside.

The left side trying to catch some of the glitter and shine.

We have two fabulous sponsors this week.

Marianne Designs are offering a surprise gift for the winner

And Bugaboo Stamps have 7 stamps of the winners choice ready and waiting to be collected.

Thanks for taking the time to look, and just a reminder that you must use a Christmas/Winter theme for your project. The challenge runs for 2 weeks, and you can enter up to 3 times.

Tractor Ted - Di's Digi Stamps - Passi8on for Promarkers DT

Good morning from a wet and windy Sunderland.  We have a new challenge at Passion for Promarkers, where I am the host, and I have chosen the theme of 'All things bright and Beautiful'.
This doesn't mean that you have to base your card on harvest festivals,  what I would like to see is autumn colours, and the content is up to you.

I have used an image from one of our sponsors, 'Tractor Ted'. (he is available for $1 in the bargain basement  I'm not sure if he would appreciate the 'bling', but I like it.

I made a mask of Ted and the tractor to use when adding the background  which I made using an Ebrush. Unfortunatly they still haven't made an adaptor for Promarkers, so I admit I have bought the blue and green sets of spectrum noir markers. (This is the adaptor supplied with the Ebrush).
The backing paper is from Nitwits, and the other layers are co-ordinations card and rainbow mirror board. The sentiment is from LOTV and created using punches. Ribbon and gems from my stash. The butterflies and  flowers are from a ready made boarder from Papermania about 3/4 years ago :)

A close up of the image. The headlights have a coat of glossy accents. I have coloured him with Flexmarkers, Tria Markers, and Promarkers.

We have 2 generous sponsors this week.  Firstly we have Di’s Digi Stamps who are offering one lucky winner a prize of a $12.00 voucher to spend in their online store.
Di's Digital Stamps
Our second sponsor is Letraset who are offering one lucky winner a prize of a Winsor & Newton set of 12 Brushmarkers (Set 1) which includes a free blender pen.

Emmi Loo 'A poppy for you' - Crafty Sentiments DT

Good morning, I'm here today with a card for this weeks Crafty Sentiments challenge where the theme this week is 'Anything goes', so plenty to choose from our on line shop.
I have used a really cute image 'Emmi Loo - A poppy for you'. I have to admit poppies are one of my favourite flowers.

She is cut using a SB lables 25 die with a faux nestie behind her. The papers are from Nitwits, and I cheated and layered them up on the pc so 3 'sheets' became one. The sentiment is from LOTV and the flowers are from WoC. Ribbon, card candy and gems from my stash.

She is coloured with Promarkers and I added a little  distress ink around her, and paper pieced her dress.

A view of the inside, this time layering 4 into one sheet with a computer generated sentiment.

The Prizes for this challenge are...

3 images if the winner used a Crafty Sentiments Designs image.

1 image only for a winner who has not used a Crafty Sentiments Designs Image.

1 image for our crafty sentiments favourite

Candle Light - Wee Stamps - Winter Wonderland DT

Good morning. I have finally recovered from my holiday, at least I hope so. After thinking I had managed to avoid the D&V bug, it decided to hit me when I got home.  I never even looked at the pc for the first couple of days, and can't visit my friend, who is still in hospital, incase I pass something on to her.

So today I have a card for this fortnights challenge at Winter Wonderland, where Mary has set the theme of 'Let's get crafty/plaid it again sam.
I have used one of the latest images from Sylvia Zet. 'Candle light', and what a real cutie he is.

I haven't made a 'Kraft' for ages, and I must admit I cheated with this one.I stamped the kraft card and then added a white layer with the main image fussy cut. I added layers with black and rainbow mirror board. and the holly leaf paper and circular sentiment are from LOTV.
The Let it snow is computer generated and passed through a foiler using holographic film. I used copious amounts of Glamour dust and green glitter.
The ribbon and cardcandi are from my stash.

A close up of the image where I hope the glitter is showing a little better.

A view of the inside..

We have 2 fabulous and generous sponsors this week

giving a $12 voucher for their store.

and also
giving a choice of 3 digi's from their store.

The DT have worked their magic again, and i hope you will check out their inspirational  here. and of course leave them a comment.
