Good morning everyone. Finally I appear again. It wasn't good news at the surgery last week, I have to start on insulin when I get back from my holidays. So that's probably where all my headaches are coming from, high blood sugar levels. Have to admit I haven't felt much like blogging or making cards, so it's a good job being on a design team makes you have to make them.
For today's card I used LOTV's Over the Threshold to make a requested card.
I decided to go with a cream card rather than the traditional white. I used an embossing folder I got with the Ebosser to make the background. The image is cut with a SB labels 4 with a faux nestie behind it. This is then mounted onto a Marianne Anja square. The corners, border and sentiment mount are all Fleur De Lis Accents.Flowers from WOC and everything else from my stash.
They are of course coloured with Promarkers and Triamarkers, with distress ink around the edges.
The matt gold mirror card shows a little better on this one and the stickles I added to her petticoat and the flowers.
Onto this week's theme and we have a very special challenge for you this week as it's our 4th Anniversary at PFP. Hi Eileen a stunning card today, love the cream and pink together! The touches of gold look fab too! What do you think of the EBosser I have been thinking about it but not sure, I have a cuttlebug and Big Shot Pro already and I think DH is getting me a Silhouette Cameo for my birthday.
Sorry to hear you have been under the weather I thought that must be the case as you hadn't blogged for a few days. I know its a drag going on the insulin and you don't want to have to but at least you know what the problem is now and you should start to feel better once you get the correct regime. Look on the bright side - at least you won't need the District Nurse to administer it!! If you want a rest just send your ironing over to me!! Sending get well hugs, Susan xxx
