Good morning everyone from a dull and very overcast North East. It certainly looks as if the Summer is over, thank goodness I am off to Egypt next week for 2 weeks of sun and relaxation.
Today sees the start of a new challenge at Passion for Promarkers where the lovely Shelly has chosen the theme of 'Perfect Pets'.
This was an easy one for me as I had a commissioned card for this week and they wanted a cat on it. I chose to use a freebie from Sylvia Zet that I got ages ago,'Little Kitty Lady', and it is purrrrrrrrrrrrrfect for this challenge :)
A purrrrrrrrrrple purrrrrrrrrring little lady. She is cut with SB Grand Cirlces and backed onto Grand Scalloped Circles large. The sentiment is cut and mounted using MFT fishtail stax. Ribbon from Mei flower. Lace from the Ribbon Girl. Flowers from WOC and corners from my stash.
You may have spotted a little difference from the card on the Promarker blog. I kept looking at it and decided it just had to have some flowers.
She is of course coloured with Promarkers and Flexmarkers with a little distress ink around the edges.
It doesn't show that well but I also added Glamour Dust to the ribbon on her hat and scarf and some Glossy Accents to her nose and eyes.
The inside reflects the front.
I hope you will join in with the challenge where you could win $10 of digi papers from our generous sponsor Michele, of Michele R Designs, from her selection at Whimsy stamps.
I hope you will take the time to look at the gorgeous cards the other DT ladies have made. Thanks for taking the time to look
