Hello and welcome, I finally have a card to post for the latest challenge at Winter Wonderland, where Cindy has chosen the theme of 'Lots of Layers/Wish upon a Star'.
My apologies for posting so late. A very close friend has been admitted to hospital with major problems.
I thought I would get this card made in time, but I was hospital visiting on Thursday, and again yesterday. I cut all my layers and was so tired that I went to bed and got up yesterday at 7.30am to glue and take photo's before the challenge went live.
When I looked at my die cuts I found that even using a daylight lamp they were all wrong, so had to start from scratch, and finally had it finished after 12.30pm, and added it to the blog before going, back to the hospital.
The rejects!!!!!! (and this isn't all of them mas I managed to recycle them into the card)
Tadaaaaaaaaaaaaaa. And this is the completed card.
I have managed to get 7 layers using rainbow mirror board and a pastel lilac. The dies winter flurries Couture Collection. I added snowflakes that are 'waste' from a MS punch.
The sentiment is computer generated onto a tag from the Michele R designs Winter Frost collection, as is the the DP.
Michele R has for sale, and there really are some beautiful collections at her shop. She is offering the winner a €10.00 voucher
And the gorgeous Polar Bear images I am sure I bought from Live and love Crafts, but I couldn't find a link for them.
and by Live and Love Crafts who are giving the winner a £10 voucher to spend in store
A view of the inside.
The other ladies on the Snowflake team have really pushed nthe boat out with their fabulous cards this week, and they can be found here,
Thanks for taking the time to look
