Good morning, finally got around to posting this card which should have been posted on Tuesday. I missed the deadline for a challenge after taking my sister to the airport.... hmmm she is having a week in Majorca grabbing some extra sun. (Topping up her Egyptian tan). Roll on October when we are off to Egypt again.
Anyway onto my card which is Drumming Noah by Sassy Cheryl's. Glad he isn't in my house with that huge drum.
I have plain cut him and added lots of Xcut stars. Backing paper and ribbon from my stash and some Cardcandi. I haven't done a close up as its a bit fussy to focus in on and looked odd with the stars catching the edges.
He is coloured as always with Promarkers, Flexmarkers and Prisma pencils.
I have decorated the inside to reflect the front.
Paper Playtime challenge #78 'Red White and Blue plus add a diecut': and Allsorts challenge #162 'Red White and Blue'.
Thanks for looking and hope you all have a great weekend

He's a cutie, but he can stay out of my house too! My girls came home from VBS with decorated drum sticks - why?! I love your bright, starry card and the large inside star as well. Such a festive card!!

Morning Eileen, just thought I would pop over and see what you have been up to lately and must say I wasn't disappointed to see this wonderful card. I have those x-cut stars and have only used them once but I love how you have used their nesting capability so well, really love your choice of colours and you must have the most amazing stack of papers to choose from because you always come up with something so gorgeous. Do you start with papers and an uncoloured stamp and then colour the stamp to match the papers or do you do it like me and colour the image and then try and find matching papers? I can always find something to match as I have that many 6x6 pads and have even started using my 12x12 which I always swore was for scrapping ONLY, ner to be touched for anything else, EVER!! But as I haven't done any scrapping for the longest time and have even started dabbling in digi scrapping I thought the time had come to put some of my prettiest papers to good use and let the world see them on the blog.
Just got a great bargain on C&C, SWALK stamps and CR-Rom at half price, check them out they are lush!
Have a great weekend and hope to see you over on my blog soon (keep you eyes open for some new Kenny K's real soon!!),
Take Care,
Andy
