Canarylove - Saturated Canary

Welcome to a cold and wet Sunderland. We have had 3 concerts at the Stadium of Light in the past few weeks and it has rained for everyone of them. Fortunately for me I didn't get tickets.
Would you believe as soon as I got my camera out so did the sun!!! It lasted a whole 5 minutes :).
So for today's card I have chosen a Saturated Canary image that I have had for ages (it was a freebie).

I decided to cut her out as it would have taken a very large die cut... almost regretted doing it as it took so long. The backing paper is a Nitwits collage, sentiment is from Wild Rose Studios and cut with spellbinders. Memory Box swirl and flowers from my stash.

She is coloured as always with Promarkers, Flexmarkers and prisma pencils.

Nitwits papers on the inside too.

I made her to enter the Saturated Canary challenge #20 'Red,White and Blue' a 4th of July type card.  I am also entering Card Making Mamas challenge #48 Colour Challenge 'Red, White and Blue'.

Can I say welcome to my new follower and thank you all for the lovely comments you have left me.

Eileen, this is beautiful & certainly worth the trouble you went to in cutting her out. Your Nitwits papers are soooooo bright & VIVID. do you use special paper or do you have a really wonderful printer cuz it sure looks picture perfect .... And that hair !!! Oh my word you do a fabulous job on coloring ...

Morning Eileen, I wonder where the comment I wrote last night went. I wrote on your blog but don't see it added on here. Must be out it Cyberspace some where. I wanted to say how beautiful this little card is & how I LOVE your coloring, especially her gorgeous hair. And that vibrant Nitwits paper looks like you bought it right off a shelf in your local craft shop. WOW, how do you get such great color? Do you have a really great printer or do you use a "special paper" ??? My digi papers always look OK but yours is TRUE color !!!
