Again it took me a week to appear. I offer sincere apologies for not getting round your blogs. I went away for a few days to chill out at a friends and got back yesterday. Have to admit to feeling tired most of the time and the headaches come and go. Thank goodness I'm off to Turkey on Sunday for a week of relaxing in the sun.
If it wasn't for DT commitments I don't think I would be making many cards.
Today sees the start of a new challenge over at The Paper Shelter where our theme this week is 'Shape it up! (Make a card that isn't square or rectangular) or an easel card '
For a change I decided to do something new for me and that's to make a tag. I used an adorable image from the 'Cute Nurse's' digi, but only used one of them (This was me about 40 years ago and that was about the colour of my hair then)
Isn't she a cutie? I cut her using SB long rectangle and long scalloped rectangle. The sentiment is from LOTV. The tag is one I bought at the Harrogate show. Flowers from WOC. leaves and butterflies are MS punches. Ribbons and pearls from my stash. Spun Sugar DI around everything and Stardust Stickles added to the butterflies and flowers.
She is of course coloured with Promarkers, Flexmarkers and Triamarkers with a little prisma pencil for definition. I also added glossy accents to the medicine glass and bottle but it doesn't show in the pictures.
Our prize this week as always from the generous Veronica and Pedro is a $30 gift certificate if you use a TPS image, or 3 digi's of your choice for any other image.
I hope you will join us this week and also pop over and see what the other DT girls have made for your inspiration.
I am entering the following challenges:-
Thanks for taking the time to look
