Bird Swing - Wee Stamps

Evening everyone and welcome to my new follower. Can I start by saying thank you for the lovely comments you have left about my design team appointment at The Paper Shelter, I still don't know how I managed it.
Today's card is one that was commissioned by a friend who's niece has just gotten engaged. I know its a little old fashioned to used gold mirror board on cards now but this is the sort of card she likes.
I have used a Wee digital stamp called Bird Swing, don't know if I got the colour of the birds right 'blue bird of happiness', or if I should have made them love birds?

The backing paper really is peach and matches perfectly but it looks faded and pink in the photos. I used one of the new Spellbinder dies, Grand Decorative Ovals, couldn't wait to get them, but they are big so this is an 8 x 8 card (my friend also likes big cards). Its nested on a Grand Oval. The flowers are from WOC and the lace, ribbon and button are from my stash. The leaves are a memory box die and I made the sentiment on Craft Artist and cut it with a SB circle. I rounded the corners with a Xcut punch.

Coloured as always with Promarkers and Flexmarkers and distress ink added to the edges.

I created an insert with My Craft Studio.

I am entering the following challenges :-

thank you so much for looking

Beautiful Mermaid - The Paper Shelter

Good afternoon everyone and welcome to my 3 new followers who are all fellow members of the design team at The Paper Shelter.  Yes I am now on a DT. I was totally amazed and stunned to be chosen to join such a prestigious team and really look forward to working with them all, and hope you will all join in with their challenges.

Believe it or not I had already decided to use this gorgeous image with specific challenges in mind.

She is cut with Spellbinders Grand Scalloped Circles large, and I made a faux nestie with rainbow silver mirror board. Shells and backing are from Craft Artist. Clouds are a memory box die and pearls and net ribbon from my stash.

She is coloured as always with Promarkers and Flexmarkers, and I added lots of Glamour Dust everywhere, but actually did her tail to look like scales but it doesn't show very well in the photos.

A side view to try to show her scales, but still doesn't really show....

The inside reflects the front.

I am entering the following challenges with her:

Thank you so much for looking and huge thanks to the team and Veronica and Pedro at The Paper Shelter for thinking I am worthy of joining you all

Noelcarol - Saturated Canary.

Whooooooooooooo hooooooooooooooooooo...... I've finally done it !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
My first Christmas card :), and not a hint of red or green anywhere.
I chose to do another of Krista's beautiful girls, Noelcarol.

Not a hint of traditional card but I finally got to use my Spellbinders Holly motifs and accents, bought them a few months ago with the idea of starting early.. yea... well it is only July. She is cut with SB long rectangles and accented with scalloped long rectangles. The silver backing is embossed with SB Impressibilities snowflakes.and my only other additions were pearls and ribbon from my stash and backing paper insert from Crafters Companions adorable cd.

She is coloured as always with Promarkers, Flexmarkers and Prisma pencils and I did add a little liquid pearls for her buttons and on her boots.

Managed to get a photo without me showing as a reflection on it :)

Thank you so much for looking and for the encouragement you show me

Daisy the Cow - Digistamps4joy

Evening all :)
Welcome to my new follower and thanks for your lovely comments.
Well I know this one has made the deadline :).
This is a digi I won last week from digistamps4joy and thought it was really appropriate for a couple of challenges.

A fun image of a cow with a cute expression. I cut the image with Spellbinders Grand Circles and Grand Scalloped circles as a highlight. Backing paper is Wild Rose Studios, as is the sentiment. I added a Memory Box tree and clouds, Joy crafts leaves and Cheery Lynn grass. Flowers from WOC. Ribbon from my stash.

She is coloured with Promarkers and Flexmarkers.

The inside reflects the front.

I am entering Passion for Promarkes challenge #158 ' Down On the Farm' :  Joanna Sheen challenge 'Animal Crackers':  and Ruby's Rainbow challenge #33 'Cute Animals'.

Roses bike ride - Wee Stamps

Well I can't believe I have done it two weeks in a row. Made a card and missed entering it in the challenge it was made for. It closed 30 minutes ago :(.   Never mind I'm sure I'll find somewhere to enter it.
Can I say welcome to my 3 new followers and thank you so much for your lovely comments.
Onto the rather rushed card I made.. well rushed to finish it.

This is Roses bike ride, and image by Sylvia Zet for Wee Stamps. I made it based on the Tour de France. Wasn't it fantastic that Bradley Wiggins won. Have to admit I have never watched it before, but have been this week. I don't think Rose would be able to keep up with him, but I did give her some yellow flowers.
She is cut with Spellbinders Grand scalloped circles large and framed with a grand cirlce. Backing paper from Papermania. Ifle tower from a kit I got ages ago from Create and Craft. Flowers and corner from WOC. Ribbon from my stash.

She is coloured as always with Promarkers, Flexmarkers and Prisma pencils.

Thank you so much for looking.

Circus Trixie - Saturated Canary

Afternoon everyone and welcome to Lorraine my new follower, who makes so many lovely things, not just cards.
Back to another Krista image for me, sorry I just can't resist them.

And yes another one with grey/black hair. I thought it went with the colour scheme. I cut her with Spellbinders Grand circles, added picot circles to highlight and for the sentiment which is from Wild Rose Studios. Backing paper ribbon and pearls from my stash. Corner and some of the flowers from WOC. Leaves are Spellbinders and MS punch.

She is coloured as always with Promarkes, Flexmarkers and Prisma pencils.

The inside reflects the front.

I am entering Passion for Promarkers challenge #157 'Gingham/checks':   I love Promarkers challenge # 125 'Circles':   Do You Stack Up challenge# 80 'Cool Colours' Totally Papercrafts Friday Challenges #125 'Lots of Layers':  and Joanna Sheens challenge 'Going Round in Circles'.

Drumming Noah - Sassy Cheryl

Good morning, finally got around to posting this card which should have been posted on Tuesday.  I missed the deadline for a challenge after taking my sister to the airport.... hmmm she is having a week in Majorca grabbing some extra sun.  (Topping up her Egyptian tan). Roll on October when we are off to Egypt again.

Anyway onto my card which is Drumming Noah by Sassy Cheryl's. Glad he isn't in my house with that huge drum.

I have plain cut him and added lots of Xcut stars. Backing paper and ribbon from my stash and some Cardcandi. I haven't done a close up as its a bit fussy to focus in on and looked odd with the stars catching the edges.
He is coloured as always with Promarkers, Flexmarkers and Prisma pencils.

I have decorated the inside to reflect the front.

Thanks for looking and hope you all have a great weekend

Rapunzel - Saturated Canary

Afternoon everyone. This is a digi I downloaded a while ago, always with the intention on trying to give her black hair. I just adore Krista's images and this has to be one of my favs.

I have to admit I made this up with a different background and didn't think she popped enough so made it again with red.  I cut her out to show off the background which is Papermania Capsule Collection and one from my stash. I cut the mount with Spelbinders labels 25 and then made a faux nestie. Lace and some flowers from WOC. Swirls from Creative Expressions and row of bling, feather, ribbon red mirrorboard and stick pin from my stash.

She is coloured as always with Promarkers, Flexmarkers and Prisma pencils. I added stickles to the flowers.

The inside reflects the front.

Thank you so much for looking, hope you like her. Hope you're having a good weekend.

Mountain Lily - Wee Stamps

Good morning I finally got around to finishing another card. A couple have gone in the bin :).

Can I start by saying welcome to my new followers thank you for taking the time to come and look at my blog, and thank you everyone for your lovely comments.

Today's card is a Wee Stamp by Sylvia Zet 'Mountain Lily'.  I bought it as a rubber stamp when they were released a couple of weeks ago and finally got her made into a card.

I think she is a beautiful image. I cut her with Spellbinders circles, lacy circles and used lacy ovals for the sentiment. I also added edgeabilities to the top mat.  The papers are from Boofle and Nitwits.
Flowers from WOC and pearls from my stash.

She is coloured as always with Promarkers, Flexmarkers and Prisma pencils. I added stickles to the lily and then added lots of glamour dust to her wings and the fur on her jacket.

I made her using the sketch (first time I have worked to a sketch) from Passion for Promarkers

I am entering Passion for Promarkers #156 'sketch':  Oh la la challenge #108 'Mystical Magic':  Card making Mammas challenge #48 'Rubber': and Fashionista challenge #4 'Winged things'.

Icecream and Pickles - Saturated Canary

Well what a surprise I got this morning when looking through my blogs, there was my Daisygirl being featured at Joanna Sheen's daily talent spot....... Thank you so much.
Big thank you's to my two new followers I always feel honoured when anyone decides to become a follower and thank you so much for your comments.

So on to today's card, and another delicious image from Krista.

Just for a change no flowers today. I have just cut simple rectangles and squares and cut out my image to include the backing paper behind her.  The backing papers are Dovecrafts back to basics 2 and Bazzill basics.  The border is a Spellbinders, ribbon from Meiflowers, corners from Whimsy stamps and buttons and pearls from my stash.

I have coloured her as always with Promarkers, Flexmarkers and Prisma pencils.

The inside reflects the front.
