Different folds or Shaped Cards - Multiple Dies and Stamps used - Fussy and Fancy DT.

Good evening everyone, I'm back with another card that should have gone on line this morning.  This time it's a different sort of card for me, a trifold. Our lovely Annie is the host and she has chosen a theme of  'Different folds or a shaped card.' I cut a diangular strip off some black A4 card going from 5 1/2 " to 8" and divided it into 3 equal panels with score lines. I did the same to a piece of white but with  made it 1/2 an inch smaller. I then did some masking and layering. I then sprayed it using an Ebrush. Once the back was dry I then stamped on the extra trees.

This time I cut rather than creating scoring lines

This is a view of the middle layer on the front

The last front panel

The middle panel on the back, there are another 2 panels  for ad
ding messages. I have used a
Clarity stamp for the main image.
Our sponsor for this challenge is Wild Orchid Crafts who are offering the winner £15 to spend in store

So now it's up to you.

Oak Tree Girl - Wee stamps - Fussy and Fancy DT.

Hello again, I am back with my Fussy and Fancy head on, and using another Wee stamp. I have so many stamps and digi's that have never been used that I have set myself a challenge to use them all. So today I have used Oak Tree Girl who I think is perfect for an autumn colours. Our theme this week and hosted by Jo is 'Shades of Autumn'

She is cut using Tattered lace circles, and the leaves are from Spellbinders. I added Nuvo glitter to them, either high lighting the whole leaf or adding it to the veins. The ribbon, dazzler  and pearls are from my stash. The Sentiment is computer generated and gilded using my Minc machine.

A view of the inside. (It took me ages to work out how to add the song words in a circle)

The metal embellishments are from Wild Orchid Crafts

We are being sponsored this week by ~Wild Orchid Crafts.
They are offering the winner a £15 voucher to spend in store.

It always amazes me that they have such a huge catalogue of stock. I started with an A4 box for the flowers and it has now grown to a 64 litre really useful one, but isn't it always the case that you never have the colour you need.

The other ladies on the Fussy and Fancy team have made totally fabulous cards for your inspiration this week and you can find them here

Blue Sea - Ching-Chou Kuik - Fussy and FancyDT.

Good morning and welcome to my first post of the day.  I am hosting the challenge at Fussy and fancy this week and have chosen the theme of 'Let's Fly Away'.  This is a really easy theme as it can be flying off to holiday destinations, or things with wings (Fairies, Butterfly's etc).

So today I have used Blue Sea Illusion by Ching-Chou Kuik. I loved colouring this one up, and I'm really pleased with how her blue hair turned out.

She is cut using Tonic rectangles, and my layeringnuses coordination card and Hunkydory satin card.  I embossed using a CC butterfly folder.  The spray of butterflies is from Joanna Sheen and the ribbon and gems are from my stash.

A close up shows I added glitter to the butterflies, and glossy accents to her eyes and the 'jewel', and finally some nuvo drops to the flowers in her hair.

She is coloured with Letraset markers and a little Prismacolour pencils to add more definition.

The inside does reflect the front

We are being sponsored this week by Noor Design who are offering the lucky winner a £10 voucher to spend in their store.

The other ladies on the DT as usual have made some unbelievable projects for your inspiration this week, I hope you will check them out here.

Thanks for taking the timed to look, I am really looking forward to seeing hoe you interpret this challenge

Penelope Poppy - Conie Fong - Fussy and Fancy Friday DT

Good morning and welcome to a new Challenge at Fussy and Fancy Friday blog.
The great theme chosen by Diane this week is 'A walk in the garden' so a million choices of what to do for this one.

I had to make a card for a friends daughter who is celebrating her 5th Birthday, and loves helping out in the garden. I will be adding a '5' to the front of the card and adding the verse to the inside.  I chose another Conie Fong image, 'Penelope Poppy' for the main image of the card.

I started by creating the background with Craft Artist, and added a sky line, path. flowers and garden gate, the I cut multi-colour butterflies, then really went back in time to add the different
colours of  flowersoft to the different types of flowers.  I haven't used these for years, apart from the white when highlighting snow.  I also added some Nuvo drops the the butterflies and red glitter to the centre of the poppies. The sentiment is from memory box.

A close up of the image which I fussy cut and coloured with Letraset markers.
The inside of the card is a picture of the house and grounds which is the same as the front of the card but has a personal message.

We have a prize of a Noor Design gift voucher
for the Lucky winner this week

The other ladies on the Fussy and Fancy team have some truly amazing cards for your inspiration  this week, as always, and you can find them here

Flowers and Lace - Just Inklined - Fussy and Fancy DT

And onto my second late post (see the last post for reason. I can't believe how clumsy I am getting to be. I have arthritis in my hands and have problems with my grip, constantly dropping things.

Today is the start of the new fortnightly challenge at Fussy and Fancy Friday Challenge, and oh my you need to see the inspirational cards from the team, you can find them here .  Sheryl is our host for the challenge and chose the theme of Flowers and Lace.

I really do try to make 'fluffy' cards where nothing is straight and things hang over edges, but I never manage it. I don't know if it's due to 45 years of nursing where things had to be straight but here I go with another card which is regimented again :)

This is one of my favourite images and it can be used for so many reasons, It's 'Poppy Cluster' from just Inklined. The main image it cut with a SB Grand Circle, then I added one from the Tonic Rose collection, and then another from SB's Grand Decorative circles.
To complete this main plaque I added a red circle behind and a cream pearl strip.
The very wide lace border is a very old SB 'Heartfelt Creations' die, one of the first ones I ever bought. The 'Art Deco/Rennie Macintosh' inspired corners from Memory Box. The ribbon and resin flower, and pearls  are from my stash. The Sentiment is from LOTV.

This is view of the inside of the card. I used another part of the Tonic rose set.

An angled view of the card front.

We are being sponsored this week by Sweet Lilac Flowers
and they are offering a special prize for the winner,

So that's it.  It's up to you now.  I bet you have lot's of Flowers, lace and dies just waiting for you to use them  Thanks for taking the time to look

Steampunk Dragonfly - Ching Chou Kuik - Fussy and Fancy DT

Good morning again. And now for something completely different to my normal cards.  I coloured up this digi 'Steampunk Dragonfly' from Ching Chou Kuik a while ago, and waited to use it for a DT card. I thought this weeks challenge at Fussy and Fancy  was perfect for it

She is fussy cut and added to some Graphic 45 card.  The layers are TH metalic card in  copper.  Yes ................. I actually cut into 2 treasured card packs :)

I added a Cheery Lynn border and some sprockets from SB.  I bought a pack of mixed metallic elements (I think from The Works) and made the little 'flowers'. The sentiment is a MB die with the bottom loops removed.

The dragonfly, clocks and corners are from 'Live and Love Crafts', and they are our sponsor this week.  Sandy is offering a £10 voucher to the winner.

A close up, I added glossy accents to her goggles and black aurora borealis pearls to the centres of the cogs.

this one shows the copper card better than the straight one

This is the inside of the card where I have added a Penny Black sentiment.

Wait till you see what my other teamies have made for you inspiration this week, totally amazing cards for your inspiration, and you can find them here, and of course full details are available on their blogs.

Cherry Blossom Sprite, corner and border - Aurora Wings - Magnolia-licious - Fussy and Fancy DT

Hello I'm back again with my second post of the day, this time it's for the fabulous Fussy and Fancy DT.
Our host for the next two weeks is the lovely Beth, and she chose the theme of Green and Pink. The two colours go so well together. I have used 3 images from Aurora Wings Cherry Blossom Sprite, Cherry Blossom corner and Cherry Blossom border, which can all be found here

I didn't want to add too much to the card as I feel the images are perfect as they are, No glitter or die cuts.  Th layer behind the image is a Diesire Blossom embossing folder, and the ribbon, gems and dazzler are from my stash.  All the layers are straight cut and have their corners clipped.

She is coloured with Triamarkers,  Flexmarkers and Promarkers

A view  of the inside of the card. The sentiment is a magazine freebie.

We are being sponsored this week by Magnolia-licious

You can use any image as long as you follow the theme.

The other ladies on the Fussy and Fancy 'B'  team have made some gorgeous cards for you inspiration this week, and you can find them here.

I am entering the following challenges :-

Lady Spring - Faery Ink - Fussy and fancy DT

Good Morning I am here with my second of two cards for today. It's a new challenge at Fussy and Fancy today, and the Lovely Annie has chosen the theme 'Things with Wings' so what a huge area this  covers, from fighter bombers for men to tiny fairies for girls. Of course I have gone for a fairy :).  This little lady is 'Lady Spring' from Faery Ink, and I love it so much I coloured a blue and a pink (for another challenge) version.  As the challenge is things with wings I also added a 'couple' of butterflies :)

She is cut using a TL hexagon die and nestie. The butterflies are all from MB and the card is coordinations and tonic mirror board.(Jody was right you don't get 'threads' when you use this mirror board).

She is coloured with Triamarkers, flexmarkers and Promarkers.  I added Nuvo glitter to her wings and  flower headband, and some Nuvo drops to the toadstool.

trying to get the sparkle to show

A view of the inside with even more butterflies.

and finally another side view.
I hope you will take the time to check out the amazing cards the DT have made for your inspiration this week, you can find them here

Grow a Little Love - Tiddly Inks - Fussy and Fancy DT.

Good morning and welcome to my first post of the day which is for the Fussy and Fancy challenge.  Jo is the hostess this week and she has chosen a theme of:-

 A recipe.....
Create a design and have some fun,
Use this recipe and your work will be done,
Just use black and white to make a start,
But then add some red , a flowers and a little love heart......X

I have used a Tiddly Inks image of 'Grow a Little Love'.
Just to be a little different I have used a 'Spotlight' technique using the floral heart as the frame for it.

The DP is from Dovecraft and I matted onto co-ordinations card.  The ribbon, flowers and dazzler are from my stash.  The sentiment usesTattered Lace dies for the words, and a chalkboard tag which I bought at a local craft shop. If you look closely you will also see a heart and fairy charm.

A close up to show the flowers better, and you can just about see the glossy accents on them. She is straight cut and coloured with Tria,Flex and Promarkers.

A view of the inside.

 and a sideways image.

Our sponsor for the challenge is Sweet Lilac flowers who are offering a special prize for the winner.

I hope you will pop over and see the amazing cards that have been made for your inspiration this week
