Winter - Crafty Sentiments -- Crafty Sentiments Guest Designer

Good morning,  and welcome to this week's Crafty Sentiments challenge.  I have made another  card blip where when it comes to  adding the right card for the right challenge.  This should have been added on Tuesday, and I thought it wasn't due until 14th.
Our theme this week chosen by Patricia is Winter (this can be anything to do with the season - Snowy scenes, Snowmen, penguins,  Santa etc.)

I have chosen to use Snowmen family and the picture looks to me like a mother and son.

I bought the window die
about 2 years a ago and I think it's from M.Box. the merry Christmas is definitely M.Box.
The image surrounding the frame is from another old favourite of mine (Crafters Companion Cute Christmas, using images from Jane Nestorenko) and the dark green Christmas mirror board is at least 2 years old . The window catch is 2 brads and a piece of sheering elastic.

A view of the inside of the front page featuring two really cute snowmen from Crafty Sentiments that can be found here. I added some Cheery Lynn snowflakes and then Glamour Dust, nevo black glitter, Flower Soft and then ice crystals.  The sky was created using my E-brush.

Now to get you really confused, This is the outside of the middle, again reflecting the front layout.

and this is the back of the middle layer, which uses freebies from magazines.

So there we are, something a little different from me.

Now to the gorgeous images you can win, if you enter

3 images if the winner used a Crafty Sentiments Designs image.

1 image only for a winner who has not used a Crafty Sentiments Designs Image.

1 image for our crafty sentiments favorite

She is coloured with Promarkers, Flexmarkers and Tria markers. I also added distress ink to the edges. and a frosted glaze to the clear drops and to the flowers on her hat.

A view of the inside which shows all the layers.

Emmi Loo 'A poppy for you' - Crafty Sentiments DT

Good morning, I'm here today with a card for this weeks Crafty Sentiments challenge where the theme this week is 'Anything goes', so plenty to choose from our on line shop.
I have used a really cute image 'Emmi Loo - A poppy for you'. I have to admit poppies are one of my favourite flowers.

She is cut using a SB lables 25 die with a faux nestie behind her. The papers are from Nitwits, and I cheated and layered them up on the pc so 3 'sheets' became one. The sentiment is from LOTV and the flowers are from WoC. Ribbon, card candy and gems from my stash.

She is coloured with Promarkers and I added a little  distress ink around her, and paper pieced her dress.

A view of the inside, this time layering 4 into one sheet with a computer generated sentiment.

The Prizes for this challenge are...

3 images if the winner used a Crafty Sentiments Designs image.

1 image only for a winner who has not used a Crafty Sentiments Designs Image.

Joy of Christmas - Crafty Sentiments - White and 1 other colour/A little bird told me - Winter Wonderland DT

Good afternoon. I'm back with my second card. this one for the Winter Wonderland challenge,
Where our theme of 'White with one other colour/or Alittle bird told me has been chosen by Louise

I have used an image from Crafty Sentiments, Joy of Christmas with the 'A Little bird told me' part of the challenge.

And here is my snowman, with 'a few Christmas dies' to create a scene. The dies I have used are,
Holly branches from Sue Wilson,
Penguins from Joanna Sheen
The large trees are from Noor and the smaller ones are Diesire
The sentiment and stitched layers are Memory Box,
and lastly the snowflakes are the waste from a Martha Stewart punch.

A close up of the main image. If you include the penguins he has 5 birds 'telling' him things. I wonder if penguins eat little birds, that penguin looks as if he has that Robin on his lunchtime menu :) You can also see on this one that he is standing on some 'snowtex'.

A view of the inside where I have used some magazine freebies.

and finally a side view which shows up the layers.

We have 2 fabulous sponsors this week, Crafty Sentiments who are offering 3 digi's of your choice at the online store.

And The Craft Barn who have a£10 gift for you to spend on line

Kids - Crafty Sentiments Guest Designer

Good morning. Today is the start of a new challenge at Crafty Sentiments where our theme is 'Kids', a really easy one, with dozens of really cute kids to choose from in the Crafty Sentiments store which can be found here.
I chose to use 'Henry - Why not' for this weeks challenge.  Do you ever have days when you just cant get anything right and have to start again?  I have 5 ripped up images to show that Saturday/Sunday were definitely those sort of days. To top it off this card I am posting is going to have to be taken apart as I somehow managed to stick the front and the back on the same of the card, something I have never done before.
Anyway back to my card.

Isn't he adorable?  He really does look as if he could never be naughty.  He is fussy cut, and I have used Nitwit papers to mount him on with a couple of layers of silver mirror board. This sentiment i from tattered lace. I was going to add some Tim Holtz  screw head brads, but after looking for them for an hour I couldn't fine the 'safe' place I had put them in (more frustration).
He is coloured with a variety of Letraset pens.

The sentiment inside is computer generated

The prize this week is 3 digis of your choice from the online store,

Joy of Christmas - Crafty Sentiments - Winter Wonderland DT

Good afternoon, did someone say Summer has arrived? I had to turn on the central heating.  Hope it is warmer where you are.
I forgot to reschedule this post after changing the photo's I took last night for some taken in daylight today.  So today is the start of a new challenge at Winter Wonderland where the theme of 'sparkle and shine' was chosen by Anet.

I have used our sponsors image 'Joy of Christmas' and made a little scene.

It is really difficult to get the sparkle to show in photo's, but there is lots of it on there. He is fussy cut and I made the tree frame using die cuts from Memory Box and Presscut.  The fir trees are from Noor Designs. The sentiment from MB and the snowflake acetate is from Hunkydory.

I added Flowersoft to the snowman, Glamour Dust to all the trees and the sentiment and clear crystal beads to lots of the snowflakes

~A side view trying to catch the shine

We are being sponsored this week by Crafty Sentiments who are giving the winner their choice of 3 digi's from their online shop

and by The Craft Barn who are giving a £10 voucher to spend in store

Isobel -Thinking of spring - Crafty Sentiments - Any thing goes

Good morning. After a great weekend of relaxing I am really feeling more like myself, I was having major problems with my hip and knee, and not sleeping. I managed to get my cards made but I am only just writing them up now.
This is the first of 3 posts.
I was delighted to be asked to join the team at 'Crafty Sentiments' as a 6 month guest designer.
The have so many fabulous images on their site that you are spoiled for choice.
Fortunately I didn't have to choose for this one as we are showcasing a new release

She is cut with a SB adorning square and mounted onto coordinations card. I have added MB tree, butterfly swirl, floral border, grass edger and clouds.  Magnolia fene and cheery Lynn grass border.

I just colour washed the sky before adding the clouds

A view of the inside which has the addition of a Penny black sentiment stamped onto the middle.

Our prize this week is 3 digi stamps from the on line shop

If you pop over to the challenge blog you can see the amaqzing images from my teamies

Mr & Mrs Snow - Crafty Sentiments - Winter Wonderland DT

Hello and welcome to my new followers, Thank you for the lovely comments you left me. This is the first of two posts for today. Over at Winter Wonderland the lovely Carol S. is our host, and she has chosen the theme of 'Baubles'.  These can be part of the image, on the backing paper, die cuts or even a card in the shape of a bauble. Today I have used 'Mr & Mrs Snow' which is available here.

I used a MB die to create the aperture and added snow covered acetate to form the front of my shaker card. the white images are digital punches from My Craft Studio, and the sentiment was computer generated and foiled. The ribbon and matt gold mirror board are from my stash.

This shows more detail, I added a Cheery Lynn icicle boarder, and some Marianne trees. I added lots of Glamour dust in white and gold.  I also discovered that if you use Pinflair ice crystals as the shaker fill that they don't stick to the acetate due to not producing any static.

A side view, trying to show the filling.

A view of the inside, again with a computer generated sentiment.

We are lucky once again to be sponsored by Crafty Sentiments, where the prize this week is 3 digi's of your choice from the on line store.

I have to say that the snowflake ladies have made some fabulous cards for your inspiration this week, and you can find them here.

Don't forget you project has to follow the theme and be a Christmas project.

I am entering the following challenges :-

Snowman Broom - Crafty Sentiments - Winter Wonderland DT

Good morning everyone. I am here today for my first post of the day, and it's for the Winter Wonderland DT where our theme this week chosen by me is 'Glitter and Shine'.  This is my first post as DT coordinator for the Snowflakes team, so I had to have lots of snowflakes.  One of our sponsor this week Crafty Sentiments, and  I have used the really cute image of 'Snowman Broom' which you can find here.

The background is straight cut with the corners rounded, and I fussy cut him to make him stand out.  The snowflakes cut from mirror board are from a MS punch around the page set.  The Sentiment is by Crafts too.
My christmas present to me was a Heidi Swapp Minc machine and the blue layer inside the mirror board is made from blue foil.

I didn't do much colouring, but what little there is was using Promarkers.  I used 3 different glitters, gold and brown on the broom and white on him, and I so wish I cold get it to show in the photos.  I also added glossy accents to his nose buttons and eyes.

We have two wonderful sponsors this week, one as I have said is Crafty Sentiments who are offering the winner 3 digi's of their choice from their store

and The Craft Barn who have generously giving the winner a £10 voucher to spend in store

The Craft Barn

The other Snowflakes ladies have made some fabulous cards for you inspiration this week, I hope you will visit them and also say hello to our new teamies here.

Thanks for taking the time to look, and I hope you will join in with our challenge this week.  Remember it doesn't have to be Christmas themed (not in January or February)
