Incantation - The Paper Shelter - TPSDT

Good morning everyone, I hope if you live in the South of England you have survived the winds! I am still struggling to get my mojo back, think I lost it about 3 months ago, so if anyone sees it lying around somewhere please feel free to give it a kick and tell it to go home.
Today is the start of the Halloween challenge at The Paper Shelter, and I like many of the DT have used the fab image 'Incantation'.  Rather than colour it I decided to go with decoupage.

Veronica had already made a fabulous image so who am I to mess with perfection?  I did however make the backing paper in Craft Artist.

I hope this one shows the extra layers I added and the purple glitter to her hat, gloves and around her frame. I also added Glossy accent to her buckles, the eye on the page and the potion bottle and green glitter to the cauldron.  Red gems to the spider's eyes.  Ribbon and charm from my stash, and the sentiment was computer generated.  Then for a little extra oomph I added Aged Wine Frantage before mounting the image.

The prize this week as always is a $30 gift voucher if you use a TPS image or 3 digi's of your choice for any other image.

I hope you will enter and also pop over and see the beautiful cards the other DT girls have made for your inspiration.

Thanks for taking the time to look

Warm Winter Wishes - Sugar Nellie - PFPDT

Good morning. Today sees the start of a new challenge at Passion for Promarkers where are sponsor this week is Dies to Die for. Julie has chosen the theme 'Things begining with P'.  I think I found the perfect image in Sugar Nellie's 'Warm Winter Wishes'.  Penguins, present, pompom, pink, purple and plum.

Such a cute image, straight cut and mounted on a SB Fleur De Lis Square. The snowflakes were part of a Wisp of Joy banner and the sentiment is LOTV. Mounted on cordinations and ribbon from my stash.

Coloured with Promarkers, Flexmarkers, Prisma pencils and distress ink. I also added Glossy accents to the heart and to their eyes. Flowersoft to his hat with copious amounts of Glamour Dust.

The inside does reflect the front.

Dies to die for have generously given a £10 gift voucher for the winner

You do have to use Letraset products to enter the challenge. I hope you will enter and also pop over and see what Julie and my other lovely teamies have made for your inspiration.

Fly Pumpkins Fly - The Paper Shelter - TPSDT

Good morning everyone from a cold wet and miserable north east England.  Today sees the start of a new challenge over at The Paper Shelter, and my first card for the A team.  The theme this week is to use 2 colours, and I hope I got away with the black in the backing paper, well black really isn't a colour is it???
I have use one of the newer images 'Fly Pumpkin Fly' as I couldn't resist this cute little girl.

She is cut using a SB grand square and mounted onto coordinations card.  The corners are peel offs. Ribbon from my stash, and sentiment from Craft artist.

She is of course coloured with Promarkers, Flexmarkers and Triamarkers.  I also added a little Prisma pencil for depth and distress ink to the background.

The inside does reflect the front.

I hope you will take the time to pop over and see the fabulous cards the other DT girls have made, and that you will enter the challenge.  The prize as always is $30 of products if you use a TPS image or 3 digi's of your choice for any other images.

Festive Post - LOTV - PFP DT

Good morning everyone, I'm finally back in blogland. Had a fabulous 2 weeks in Egypt and of course as so many people do left my mojo on the beach.

Today sees the start of a new challenge at Passion for Promarkers where I am the host . I decided to have the theme 'Snow is Falling' as if you are like me you end up desperately trying to catch up in December with all the cards you need.  Our sponsor this week is Lily of the Valley and I have used one of their latest christmas stamps 'Festive Post'.  Forgive me if the quality of the photo's are not as good as my usual ones as my camera has decided to take blurred pictures (no idea why as it was fine on holiday) so I had to use my tablet.

They are just straight cut and mounted on a SB square. The backing paper is from LOTV, houses and santa are Cheery Lynn dies, sentiment from Whimsy and ribbon from my stash.  I added white flowersoft and glitter to her coat and glossy accents to the buttons.

They are of course coloured with Promarkers, Flexmarkers, Triamarkers and distress ink to the background. I also added ice crystals to the snow.

The inside does reflect the front.

I do hope you will take the time to enter our challenge with the chance to win a £10 LOTV voucher. Don't forget you have to use Letraset products  to enter.
