Furry Friends - Conie Fong - Bella with Gift - Passion For Promarkers DT

Good morning, I'm here today with a card for our latest challenge at 'Passion for Promarkers' where Shelly has chosen the theme of 'Furry Friends'. Unfortunately she is ill atm and unable to add her card to the challenge.
I have used an image from Conie Fong 'Bella with Gift' which was a freebie to use in the May challenge that closes today (perfect timing :):):) )

She is cut with SB labels 25  with a faux nestie behind her. I used 4 different DP's 2ight and dark spots and 2 light and dark stripes, eah one having a silver mirror board frame. The sentiment is from LOTV and is cut using 3 different punches. The small butterflies are a MS punch and the large one is a MB. The ribbon, pearls and buckle are from my stash.

A close up of the image which shows I used victorian velvet distress ink on most of the items on the card. She is coloured using Triamarkers,Flexmarkers and Promarkers.

A side view. The buckle was plain silver plastic and I stuck on 'pearls' to make it match the others on the card.

A view of the inside.

~We are being sponsored this week by 2 cute to ink who have some awesome images in their store which you can find here

Holly Wreath Fairy - Crafts and me - Winter Wonderland DT

Good morning and welcome to a new challenge at Winter Wonderland, where our theme 'Non-traditional Christmas colours was chosen by Christine.  I always love this theme because we get so many colour options to view. I have used a fabulous image by Hannah Lynn which is available from Teresa's shop at Craft's and me. It can be found here.

And here she is. Not my usual gallery of photos today as my camera did a nose dive and I couldn't get it to work after taking a couple of pictures of this image.

I fussy cut her and then created the background using matt silver mirror board, which I embossed with a darice snowflake folder. I also cut two of the decorative edges for the  concertina cards. (Shame I hadn't waited another day as I got the snowflake one on Tuesday.
I added lots of gems and pearls for extra bling Then added Flower soft to her furs and glitter to her wings and the stars in the wreath. Ribbon, dazzler, and charms from my stash.

A close up of the image. Doesn't she have amazing eyes??
She is coloured with Triamarkers, Flexmarkers and Promarkers.  It's great how the ultra fine nibs allow colouring of tiny spaces.

So what about getting started on your Chyristmas cards and join us in our challenge

The lovely Teresa at Crafts and Me has a voucher for £8 to spend in store for the lucky winner

Good morning, hope everyone is enjoying the lovely weather we have atm, bet it doesn't last long.  Today is the start of a new challenge at Passion for Promarkers, and Nic has chosen the theme of 'Sparkle and Shine'.
I have used a sponsor's image called Country Cow Girl from All Dressed up which can be found here.

She is cut using a Tattered Lace oval with the next layer cut from glitter card and the next with rainbow mirror card. The papers are all from Nitwits and I used pink satin mirror board around the pink triangle and again the blue glitter card behind the blue one. The crystal swirls were from Create and Craft about 2 years ago. and the ribbon gems and dazzler are from my stash.

A view trying to catch the sparkle. She even has glitter on her shorts, shirt and boots.  She is coloured with Triamarkers, Flexmarkers and Promarkers

A view of the inside. The sentiment is from Creative Expressions and the star swirls are cut with a Tonic die.

We are being sponsored this week by All Dressed up

Steampunk Dragonfly - Ching Chou Kuik - Fussy and Fancy DT

Good morning again. And now for something completely different to my normal cards.  I coloured up this digi 'Steampunk Dragonfly' from Ching Chou Kuik a while ago, and waited to use it for a DT card. I thought this weeks challenge at Fussy and Fancy  was perfect for it

She is fussy cut and added to some Graphic 45 card.  The layers are TH metalic card in  copper.  Yes ................. I actually cut into 2 treasured card packs :)

I added a Cheery Lynn border and some sprockets from SB.  I bought a pack of mixed metallic elements (I think from The Works) and made the little 'flowers'. The sentiment is a MB die with the bottom loops removed.

The dragonfly, clocks and corners are from 'Live and Love Crafts', and they are our sponsor this week.  Sandy is offering a £10 voucher to the winner.

A close up, I added glossy accents to her goggles and black aurora borealis pearls to the centres of the cogs.

this one shows the copper card better than the straight one

This is the inside of the card where I have added a Penny Black sentiment.

Wait till you see what my other teamies have made for you inspiration this week, totally amazing cards for your inspiration, and you can find them here, and of course full details are available on their blogs.

Thanks for taking the time to read my blog

Recycled box - Winter Wonderland DT.

Good morning and welcome to my first post of the day. The theme for this one at Winter Wonderland was chosen by me,and it's anything but a card. So what do you need that you never get round to making when it gets too close to Christmas, candles? tags? plaques? ornaments? or like me boxes.
Last Christmas my sister recycled a body shop box that she had been given the year before, nothing changed on it.
She always complains that she can never find the right sized box at the right price.  Guess what she is going to get back this year, and will she realise where it came from???

I did the Blue Peter thing and covered it with sticky backed plastic :) The dies are a mixture of Spellbinders and Sue Wilsons. The 'white' areas are cut from rainbow mirror board and the red and green are just plain mirror board.

A side view, trying to catch more of the shine.

and finally a view of the side with a SB  Holly border

We are being sponsored this week by

who are giving the winner these fabulous dies

who are giving the winner a $12 voucher to spend in store

The other ladies on the Snowflakes team have made some gorgeous projects for your inspiration this week and you can find them here.  Don't forget to follow the theme of anything but a card, and it must be a Christmas project

Lavenders Blue - Conie Fong

Good afternoon. Today I have a just for fun card. I came across the artist, Conie Fong,  about 2 years ago when I saw an image for a really cute Japanese girl called Yumi.  I actually bought the rubber version and had to wait for it coming from Australia. Since then I found her etsy shop and bought a few more images.  This one is called 'Lavenders Blue', bet I have a few of you now singing that nursery rhyme now :).  She can be found here.

Isn't she gorgeous and so easy to colour. I am back to my straight cutting again, and I used rainbow mirror board to create the layers. The sentiment is from Tonic and the large butterfly is a MB. The small butterflies are cut with a MS punch.  The papers are from a LOTV's Nitwit  pad.

I created the sky using a MB cloud border and my E-brush.

The ribbon, gems and dazzler are from my stash.

The large butterfly's top layer is covered with Tonic Glitter.

A view of the inside.
