Christmas Lights Sprite - Aurora Wings - Passion for Promarkers DT

Sorry I'm a little late posting today, I was just finishing 2 cards for a friend and would you believe I forgot to take photo's of them :(, and was at work this afternoon.
Today is the start of a new challenge at Passion for Promarkers where our host this week is the lovely Lisa.
I have used an image from Aurora Wings who is really cute, 'Christmas lights sprite'

He is cut using Tonic rectangles and scalloped rectangles.  The backing papers are all from LOTV. Holly sprays from Sue Wilson. Ribbon, dazzlers and pearls from my stash. I also used Nuvo drops for the berries.

He is coloured with Triamarkers, Flexmarkers and Promarkers. I added Flowersoft to the 'fur' on his outfit and Nuvo glitter to the lights.

A side view but still cant get the sparkle to show.

A view of the inside where the stamped images are from magazine freebies.

We are being sponsored this week by Letraset

and they are giving the full set of autumn/winter  2013 limited edition promarkers. I do use these a lot as the colours really do complete 'sets' when colour matching.

Autumn Enchantment - The Paper Shelter - Winter Wonderland DT

Good morning and welcome to another challenge at Winter Wonderland where I have the honour of hosting the 1 - 2 - 3 challenge this week.
I have used a sponsors image, Autumn Enchantment from The Paper Shelter.

Isn't she gorgeous?  She is mounted on a Tonic oval and scalloped oval.  The papers I used are from Nitwits. The ribbon, dazzlers and corners are from my stash.

She is coloured with Flexmarkers, Triamarkers and Promarkers and I added a little distress ink in Sugar Pink.  I coated her wings with the new spectrum noir glitter pens and added some Tonic drops to the acorns.

Another view trying to pick up the sparkle of her wings.

And finally the inside of the card.

We are being sponsored by The Paper Shelter this week who are offering a  $15 gift voucher to spend in store.

The other 'snowflakes' have made some beautiful cards for your inspiration this week and I hope you will check them out here.

Rapunzel Sassy - Sassy Studio - Passion for Promarkers DT.

Good morning, well I hope it is as it's been horrible up in the North East of England. Dull and overcast for days and really windy.  Today is the start of a new challenge at Passion for Promarkers where the delightful Julie has chosen the theme of 'Autumn/Fall' yes we want to see your creations in the gorgeous tones of autumn.  I have use a Sassy studio image 'Rapunzel Sassy' as they are our Sponsor this week.

I have cut her with SB oval and used out of the box technique.  I have also made her up onto an easel card. The leaves are a mixture of SB dies which have been given bling with nuvo glitter and drops. The sentiment is from MB.

A view of the front of the card. The leaves look a little 'off' because you cant really see the sparkle and it really twinkles IRL.

A close up of the main image and for a change black hair, have been doing lots of  red heads recently.  She is a fabulous image to colour. Her I have used Promarkers, Flexmarkers, and triamarkers.

A view of the base with a sentiment from a magazine freebie.

And finally a side view of the whole card.

As I said we are being sponsored by Sassy Studios this week and they are offering 4 digi images from their store
Buy Sassy Studio Designs

Don't forget to enter the challenge you must use Letraset products, Promarkers, Flexmarkers, Triamarkers, Aquamarkers or Metallic markers, and can you say which type you used.

I hope you will check out the blog to see the wonderful cards the team have made for your inspiration this week, and can be found here.

Rose Sprite - Aurora Wings

Good afternoon, hope you had a great weekend. Today I am sharing another Aurora Wings image 'Rose Sprite'.  As you are all probably aware Mitzi has now reached over 2,500 members on her blog, and spent the weekend generously running competitions to win images.  She has also given us 3 special challenges to show off her new christmas creations and or any other sprites we may have.  I bought and coloured this one up a few weeks ago, and finally got her finished and on a card.

She is fussy cut and layered onto a Cheery Lynn large sunflower doily. the backing paper is from Nitwits and the flowers are WOC with a mixture of Cheery Lynn leaves and a MS leaf punch.  The sentiment, ribbon and resin flower are from my stash. I also added stickles to the flowers.

She is coloured with Triamarkers, Flexmarkers and Promarkers with a little Prisma pencil for extra depth.

The inside with the addition of a SB lacy circle and a scalloped circle.

Christmas Attire - Saturated Canary - Winter Wonderland DT

Good morning and welcome to my new follower Tanja, so glad to have you viewing my cards.
Today is the start of a new challenge at Winter Wonderland where the lovely Lesley has chosen the theme of 'Angels'.
I have used Christmas Attire from Saturated Canary.  I must admit that she does look a little like a fairy, but the serene look on her face definitely takes her up to being an Angel, well to me anyway :)

Look at me being so 'On Trend' with a chalkboard plaque;).  She is cut using SB Radiant Rectangles. She is backed by some plain co-ordinations card and then I added snowflake acetate to give it more details. The  plaque was a bargain from The Works, (they often have some unusual embellishments, well worth checking out).  The poinsettia is also a SB one.
Ribbon, pearls, dazzler and card candi from my stash.

The image in more detail. I added nuvo glitter to her wings, the baubles and to the holly in her hair. When colouring I thought her hair looked too dark so added white gel pen to add highlights.

This shows the inside of the card and highlights the acetate. The images were freebies from magazines.

We have a wonderful sponsor this week, The Hobby House who are offering a kit chosen by Jill of £10 worth of products.

I hope you will take the time to check out the beautiful cards made by the other 'Snowflakes' this week which can be viewed here, don't forget it has to be a Christmas project following this weeks theme.
