Arctic Friends - Saturated Canary - Passion for Promarkers DT

Good afternoon, hope it's better than here where we have hardly seen the sun for the passed  days.  I am here with a very late post for the challenge at Passion for promarkers, but better late than never.
I have used a Saturated  Canary image 'Arctic Friends' .

I debated whether a penguin really matched the theme as they can't fly even though they are classed as birds. (I had made one with 3 owls sitting in a tree, and then realised that it was a winter themed card that the challenge asked for.)
Back to this one, she is framed using a SB Gold Rectangles one die.and I added lots of die cuts.

A close up of the image. She is coloured using Flexmarkers,Triamarkers and Promarkers. I added Flower Soft and Glamour Dust to the trim on her coat. The snowflakes and moon are also enhanced using Glamour Dust, and I used a mix of ice crystals and Glamour Dust to the the snow she is standing on. The sky was created using my E-pen.

A side view trying to get the glitter to show. The icicles and snowflakes are Cheery Lynn. The largest tree is by Marianne dies, the 2 thinner ones from Joy crafts,
penguins are from Joanna Sheen, and I think the sentiment is from Britannia Dies

A view of the inside where I have used even more dies. The sleigh and reindeer's  are Cheery Lynn, sentiment from Crafters Companion, and the space for the sentiment and layers were cut using a Crafters Companion deckle-edge on their trimmer.

One last view where I think the black\white glitter show better on the penguins.
Sorry for such a long post.

Onto the new challenge, which has been set by Hazel from Team 1, and she has given us a gorgeous theme of ‘tweetmas wishes’.  Hazel would simply like you to make a Christmas creation using an image that includes a bird.  It doesn’t have to be the main image as long as there is a bird on there somewhere! Remember you can enter using any type of creation, it doesn’t have to be a card.  As always to be eligible for our prize draw you must use your Letraset products (promarkers, flex markers, tria markers, aqua markers or metallic markers) and of course follow the theme.  Please can you help us by stating which Letraset products you have used on your creation I.e. ‘coloured with promarkers’ etc

Our sponsor this week is
All Dressed Up stamps and they are offering one lucky winner 2 digi images of their choice from their online store.  They have so many gorgeous images to choose from you will be spoilt for choice!

Let it Rain - Saturated Canary - Passion for Promarkers DT

Good morning,  I hope every had a good Easter holiday.  It's Tuesday and that means a new challenge at Passion for Promarkers, where our theme chosen by Julie  is 'Weather'. It can be sunshine. rain, snowing or windy.  Lots of things to choose from.  I have used 'Let it Rain' from Saturated Canary.  I have had the image for a couple of years, and finally got round to using it.

She is cut with a faux nestie with more SB grand ovals behind her.  The papers are all from Nitwits 'puddle jumping' set.The ribbon, charm, buttons and dazzler are from my stash.

She is coloured with Triamarkers, Flexmarkers and Promarkers. I drew in the extra rain drops and added glossy accents to them.

The inside reflects the front image.

And a side view.

We are sponsored this week by Little Claire Designs who are giving 4 digi images to the lucky winner.

You can enter the challenge up to 3 times, but you have to use Letraset products (Promarkers, Flexmarkers, Triamarker, Aquamarkers of Metallic Markers ) and can you please state which one/s you have used.

That's it for this week. My wonderful teamies have made some really fabulous cards for you inspiration, and I hope you get the chance to check them out here.

Spritz - Saturated Canary - Floppy Latte - Winter Wonderland DT

Good afternoon everyone. I'm here with the last challenge of the year for Winter Wonderland DT, and it's a bingo board. This mega challenge will last until 7th January 2016 and as it goes into the new year it doesn't have to be a Christmas card, but there is only one line of the grid which allows this to happen.
I have used an old favourite of mine 'Spritz' from Saturated Canary and a candy cane frame from Floppy Latte. Using the line snowflakes/glitter/rhinestones.

I cut him with a TLace square using out of the box technique. I added glittered card and gold mirror board for the layers.  Nuvo glitter on his hat and wings and on the holly leaves.  The berries have a coat of glossy accents.  The snowflakes are from Cheery Lynn. and sparklers/ rhinestones from my stash.  The sentiment is using a Crafts too die.

He is coloured using Triamarkers, Flexmarkers and Promarkers.

Still can't get the glitter to show.

We have 3 wonderful sponsors this week

Christmas Attire - Saturated Canary - Winter Wonderland DT

Good morning and welcome to my new follower Tanja, so glad to have you viewing my cards.
Today is the start of a new challenge at Winter Wonderland where the lovely Lesley has chosen the theme of 'Angels'.
I have used Christmas Attire from Saturated Canary.  I must admit that she does look a little like a fairy, but the serene look on her face definitely takes her up to being an Angel, well to me anyway :)

Look at me being so 'On Trend' with a chalkboard plaque;).  She is cut using SB Radiant Rectangles. She is backed by some plain co-ordinations card and then I added snowflake acetate to give it more details. The  plaque was a bargain from The Works, (they often have some unusual embellishments, well worth checking out).  The poinsettia is also a SB one.
Ribbon, pearls, dazzler and card candi from my stash.

The image in more detail. I added nuvo glitter to her wings, the baubles and to the holly in her hair. When colouring I thought her hair looked too dark so added white gel pen to add highlights.

This shows the inside of the card and highlights the acetate. The images were freebies from magazines.

We have a wonderful sponsor this week, The Hobby House who are offering a kit chosen by Jill of £10 worth of products.

I hope you will take the time to check out the beautiful cards made by the other 'Snowflakes' this week which can be viewed here, don't forget it has to be a Christmas project following this weeks theme.

Tammi Buchaneer - Saturated Canary - The Beach and Pirate Ship - Make it crafty

Good afternoon. My share today is a card I completed a few weeks ago and combines 3 digital stamps.  My main image is Tammi Buchaneer from Saturated Canary and I combined the Pirate Ship and The Beach from Make it Crafty.

She is fussy cut and the layers are straight cut. The backing paper is from Nitwits and the coin, map and sword are from my stash.

I added glamour dust to the waves on the sea and around the sun and some glossy accents to the coins in her purse.
She is coloured with Triamarkers, Flexmarkers and Promarkers.

Still have problems getting the glitter to show in pictures.

Ugly Christmas Sweater - Saturated Canary - Winter Wonderland DT

Good morning. Today is the start of a new challenge at Winter Wonderland where Lynsey has chosen the theme of 'Festive Food'.  I have to admit to being a little stuck on what image to use for this challenge, but Candy Canes came to the rescue :)
So for my card today I have used an older one from the lovely Krista at Saturated Canary, 'Ugly Christmas Sweater'.  This one really makes me smile as I have a cream one that looks just like this.

Another almost CAS one. She is fussy cut and mounted onto a ? Crafter' s companion/Hunkydory background. Layered onto cordinations and silver mirror card.  The snowflakes are part of a Memory Box die, and the ribbon and pearls are from my stash. The sentiment is from Crafts Too.

I added glossy accents to her glasses. She is coloured with Triamarkers, Promarkers and Flexmarkers.

The inside again with the pre coloured background.

We are being sponsored this week by Crafter's Companion who are offering a £10 voucher to spend in store.

I hope you will take the time to check out the fabulous cards my teamies have made for your inspiration this week here.  It will be Christmas before you know it, so why not join in with our challenge and get started on some early cards.

Whispy - Saturated Canary - Passion for Promarkers DT

Good morning, and welcome to my new follower Deb, so happy that you're following me.  Today is the start of a new challenge at Passion for Promarkers where 'Lou' has chosen the theme of 'Easel does it', we want to see your easel cards this week. I have used an old favourite of mine 'Whispy' by Saturated Canary.

It is so difficult to photograph easel cards :(, so I have other version :)

She and the card and layers are cut with Go Create dies. Would you believe I actually made all the flowers too using Britania dies for the roses and a SB Aster for the front of the card.

She is coloured with Promarkers, Flexmarkers and Tria Markers and I added Glamour Dust for a little extra sparkle.  The ribbon (which IRL does match the paper) pearls and dazzler are from my stash.

We have two wonderful sponsors this week. Michele from MR Designs who is offering a £10 voucher to spend in store on some of her wonderful Designer Papers and embellishments

and Letraset who are offering a Promarkers Collectors set (Neutral)

Sara - Saturated Canary

Good afternoon, hope that the wind has died down in your area.  I'm back again with another just for fun card. I have use another of Krista's wonderful images 'Sara' and a really unusual colour combination for me.

She is cut using SB long rectangles and scalloped long rectangles. The butterflies are a MB die cut in cardstock with a layer of vellum on top. The papers are from DCWV and ribbon, gems and sparkler from my stash.

She is coloured with Promarkers and Flexmarkers. The background was added using my EBrush.

The inside does reflect the front.

This one shows the butterfly layers.
