Martini Girl Pin up - Sassy Cheryl - Passion for Promarkers DT

Good morning, and yes it is Wednesday, but PFP challenge starts on Tuesdays, but not in the case of someone as wooly headed as me.  I won't take you through the trials and tribulations of trying mto remove glue that had oozed out onto the gold mirror card. I have managed to removen this in then past with rubbing alcohol, but have now discovered that it doesn't work on all mirror card so I have to be more frugal with the glue, and more precise with my gluing
So to get back to this week's challenge at Passion for Promarkers where Lisa has chosen the theme of 'Hip to be Square', a really easy one. I have used an image from Sassy Studio Designs, Martini Pin Up Girl.

I made up the layers using SB Grand squares and rectangles. The sentiment is from Tonic, and I have  realised in the photo it looks as if the layer between the gold and green is brown, it's actually olive green.  The glasses have been coated in glossy accents and the olives in varnish glue.

A view of the inside where it does show the olive green.  I have added a couple of layers from Grand labels 1 and Grand Decorative labels one.  I coloured the image with Tria Markers, Flexmarkers and Promarkers. I don't know if Windsor and Newton have any plans to bring out refils as quite a few of mine are really getting very dry, (but it is 3 years at least since I bought them)

Our Sponsor this week is Letraset who are offering the winner a set of 6 brush markers

                [884955042915%2520W%2526N%2520Promarker%2520lifestyle_0255R%255B5%255D.jpg]12743572_10206957178662119_4160937320111101760_n

Don't forget you have to use Letraset products to coulour your image, ann follow the theme.

Back to School - Sassy Cheryl - Fussy and Fancy DT

Oh my....................... I have just realised that my post for last Friday has been sitting waiting as a draft. My Sincere apologies, my brain must be more addled than usual. (I blame this on having to spend 2 nights in hosptial, having 2 unit of blood for anaemia. Still awaiting test results to find out what is causing it.)
The lastest challenge at Fussy and Fancy is 'Back to SchooI have used an image from Sassy Cheryl which comes as one of the images in the set 'Make the Grade, and is the opposite of the theme as it's called 'No more School', but I think it still works for this challenge. Tammy is our host for this challenge and you can find her work here.

She is straight cut, as are all the layers.  The backing papers are Everyday Essentials from DCWV. Ribbon and card candi are from my stash, and the scrabble tiles are Hunkydory.

She is coloured with Promarkers.

The inside of the card. The book die is from Marianne Creations.

A side view.

Lily Commitment - Ching Chou Kuik

Good morning, today I have another card using one of Ching-Chou Kuik's amazing images 'Lily Commitment'.  I also used a background scene from Sassy Cheryl which unfortunatel is now discontinued.

She is straight cut as are the mounts she is on.  I used black and turquoise glitter card and added Nuvo glitter to the waves and bubbles. The scales on her tail are also picked out with the green version of Nuvo.  The shells are mostly real ones with a couple of scallops from Leif Creative. I added some blue mesh and a pearl string and a few charms from my stash.

I wish I knew a way of getting the glitter to show up in photo's. You can pick out that the bubbles have glossy accents added, as do the pearls she is wearing. She is coloured with Promarkers, Flexmarkers and Triamarkers. I Airbrushed the background with a SN marker.

This is an angled photo trying to get the sparkle to show.

Mother's Day Flower - Sassy Cheryl - Passion for Promarkers DT.

Ooops I forgot to post this this morning.
Today is the start of a new challenge at Passion for Promarkers where the lovely Shelley has chosen the theme 'Rags to Riches' in other words recycle something on your card.  I have chosen to use a Sassy Cheryl image 'Mother's Day Flower' which makes a great birthday card too.  My recycled things are the acetate front, which was from the packaging of a shower mat, and the ribbon which was from a chocolate box.

I love her expression. She is cut with a SB labels 4 with a faux nestie behind her. The flower swirls are peel offs and I added flower gems to the centre.

She is of course coloured with Promarkers, Flexmarkers and Triamarkers.

The verse is from LOTV and the backing paper is Nitwits.

We are very lucky this week to be sponsored by Polka Doodles where the lucky winner will receive 2 images, Fredericka Chic and Fredericka Debutante

We are being sponsored by Letraset who are offering a set of 6 Flexmarkers as our prize.
I decided to do a male card for a change and used 'Be Prepared' from Sassy Cheryl.

He is cut with a SB curved rectangle with a faux nestie behind him. I added MFT fishtail stax and the sentiment is mounted on a SB lacy circle. The twine, watch, buttons and papers are from my stash.

H is coloured with Promarkers, Flexmarkers, Triamarkers and masked off MB clouds before colouring the sky. I also added a little Prisma pencil.

The inside reflects the front.

Thick as Thieves - Sassy Cheryl - PFP DT

Good morning everyone. Hope you have had a good week. Mine was supposed to be a crafting one but ended up being spring cleaning.  I don't know about you but the thing I hate to do most in the world is ironing !!!!  I hate it so much that it gets to the stage where I only iron what I need, that means a lot of ironing builds up (4 sets of bedding for starters)... but I can now say that everything in my house has been washed IRONED and put away. I always feel quite chuffed when I clear it, don't know why I let it build up.  So that's part of why I have been MIA.

On to today's card which is totally different for me. My attempt at CAS. How I had to sit on my hands not to add corners, flowers and pearls to it. :) It's also a different shape, a change from a square, and I used my new toy for the background.  I have searched for months for a Promarker Airbrush and finally found one, so this is my first attempt at airbrushing too. This card is for PFP challenge for which the theme of Animals was chosen by Nat.

She is mounted onto a SB Timeless Rectangle, cut from Bazzil basics.  The dp is from Nitwits and ribbon from my stash

She is of course coloured with Promarkers, Flexmarkers and Prisma pencisl. I also added Glossy accents to the dogs nose, and for once it does show on the photo.

The inside does reflect the front.

Our sponsor this week is Bearly Mine Designs who are offering a £10 voucher for their amazing papers to the winner.  I hope you will pop over and see the fabulous cards the DT have made for your inspiration this week  Don't forget you have to use Letraset products to colour your images to be eligible to enter

Noah and his Leaves - Sassy Cheryl

Good evening from a lovely North East England. We have actually had 2 days of sunshine even though it is still cold.
Can I welcome my two new followers and say thank you for taking the time to view my cards.

Today's image is from Sassy Cheryl and is a perfect for use on an autumn card.

He is cut using a SB grand scalloped circle with faux nestie be hind him. The leaves are an xcut punch and buttons and raffia from my stash.

He is coloured with Promarkers and I have added Dried Marigold distress ink around him.
Gosh isn't it different doing male cards, no list of ingredients :)
As the light was starting to go I didn't get good side view pictures.

Drumming Noah - Sassy Cheryl

Good morning, finally got around to posting this card which should have been posted on Tuesday.  I missed the deadline for a challenge after taking my sister to the airport.... hmmm she is having a week in Majorca grabbing some extra sun.  (Topping up her Egyptian tan). Roll on October when we are off to Egypt again.

Anyway onto my card which is Drumming Noah by Sassy Cheryl's. Glad he isn't in my house with that huge drum.

I have plain cut him and added lots of Xcut stars. Backing paper and ribbon from my stash and some Cardcandi. I haven't done a close up as its a bit fussy to focus in on and looked odd with the stars catching the edges.
He is coloured as always with Promarkers, Flexmarkers and Prisma pencils.

I have decorated the inside to reflect the front.

Thanks for looking and hope you all have a great weekend
