Baby Boy

Good afternoon from a VERY wet North East. Oh boy has it been raining today, perfect day for sitting by the fire making cards. Hope you have better weather where you are. I have been beavering away making cards for work collegues again, but a lot of them are based on decopage so not really suitable for challenges, and some repeats of cards I have already posted.
Today's card is for a friend and features a beautiful image from Mo's Digital Pencil 'Baby boy s'.

The image is cut with Spellbinders Grand Circles and a Grand Scalloped large circle. Ribbon, lace and pearls from my stash.  Butterfly is a Memory box Vivienne with backing of rainbow mirror board, also added this to main card and image. Charm is from Mei Flowers. Flowers from WOC. Corners are a Magnolia die and leaves from Cheery Lynn.

Backing paper is from Nitwit papers (I went mad on Friday and bought another 14 sets while they were on special) and Core'dinations cardstock.

I have coloured with Promarkers, Flexmarkers and Prisma pencils, and added distress ink to the edges.

Poppy Cluster (Red)

I think I must have read the minds of the team at I love Promarkers as I made this card last night for a friend. She had seen my white version and wanted one with more colour. So this is another version of the Just Inklined Digi stamp

I used an 8x8 scalloped card blank, red card, mirror board and gems are from my stash. Backing paper from Nitwits, and flowers from WOC.  I cut the image with Spellbinders Grand Circles and added Grand Scalloped Circles large. The corners are from Marriane Creatables.

The butterfly is a memory box and I managed to buy the backing butterfly at the show on Sunday.  Leaves are a MS punch and a Crealies. The insert is from Jane Shasky's cd 'In the Garden' which you can buy from Joanna Sheen.

The inside butterflies are cut with Cheery Lynn Dies, and I added ribbon from my stash.

Coloured, as always with Promarkers, Flexmarkers and Prisma pencils. I sprayed the backing butterfly with Spray and Sparkle multicolour from Crafters Companion but it doesn't show very well in the pictures.

In the Meadow

I bought this stamp on Sunday at the Papercraft show, its from Wild Rose Studios.

I cut the image with Spellbinders Deckled Rectangles and the sentiment with Long Scalloped rectangles. The sentiment is from Creative studios. I added a Doohickey fence, Cheery Lynn leaves and butterfly and Whimsy corners. The flowers are from WOC. The backing paper is from one of my cds but cant remember which one think it may be Jane Shasky's 'From the heart of the garden'.

She is coloured with Promarkers, Flexmarkers and Prisma pencils and I added chalk to the background.

Close Your Eyes

Good evening everyone.  I've had a great day today. I went to the Papercraft show at Gateshead, and bought a lot of new goodies :), some of which I've used on my latest card.  It's a LOTV stamp 'Close your eyes'.

I have used Spellbinders Circles and Lacey Circles, Marianne creatables die and Whimsy corner dies. Flowers from WOC and ribbon gems and pearls from my stash. The sentiment is a Wild Rose Studio 'Birthday Circle'.

Shop till you drop

I had fun today with this one. I bought the whole set of these stamps when they first came out and have to admit this is the first time I have used one.
This is Shop 'til you drop' from the Joanna Sheen Diva Collection.

I've been at it again with the Spellbinders, this time using Labels 18 and Parisian Accents. The ribbon is from Creative Studio's and the buckle is from Mei Flowers. I used Me to You 'Spring Chic' backing papers and Bazzill basics for the embellishments. Gems are from my stash.

As usual she is coloured with Promarkers, Flexmarkers and Prisma pencils and Distress ink to the edges, and I added glaze to her sunglasses.

Sunkissed (pink)

Yea... finally got around to making some cards for me, been busy with cards for work.
I have used Elizabeth Bell's Cottage Cutie 'Sunkissed' again, but with a totally different colour scheme.

She is cut with Spellbinders Floral Ovals. (If anyone has any problems with these dies you need to get 'waxwrap' you place it over the image then put the die on top and cut.  It come out really easily then.)
Backing papers, ribbon, and lace are from my stash. Flower cluster and string of pearls are from WOC and the single flower I got in Florida. I also used a Whimsy corner die, Cheery Lynn butterfly and MS leaf punch.

She is coloured with Promarkers, Flexmarkers and a little Prisma pencil. I used distress ink and added stickles to the flowers.

The inside matches the outside with the addition of another MS punch.

Poppy Cluster - Just Inklined

Just flowers from me this time using 'Poppy Cluster' from Just Inklined.

I didn't realise just how hard it is to photograph white on white, but hope this is okay.  I did a LOT of die cutting on this one. I made the card with Centura Pearl card. The backing is Grand impressibilities 'butterfly garden' but it doesn't show that well in the pic.  The side is a double border from Spellbinders 'Damask Accents', I then cut 4 accents to put around the image, a corner and finally a buckle accent.  The 3 small butterflies and the largest one are Cheery Lynn dies and the final butterfly is a memory box.

I added ribbon, button and Cosmic Shimmer pearl pva which I bought at Sam Poole's shop. Gems are from my stash.

I coloured the image with Promarkers, Flexmarkers and added a little Prisma pencil, then very lightly added distress ink.

One Cool Cat - Crissy Armstrong

I've been busy all week making cards for work collegues, and finally got around to making one for my niece's birthday which is today.... def. a last minute card.
I have used a digital stamp which I bought with my winnings from Whimsy Stamps, One Cool Cat.  My header shows a pic of my cat 'Izzy', a Birman with attitude :), and when I saw this stamp I thought yep she would def do that if she could.

She is such a poser I could see her lying just like this.  I have used backing papers, buttons, and ribbons from my stash.

Image is cut using Spellbinders Grand Squares and flowers as usual are from WOC.

Leaves are a MS punch and she is coloured with Promarkers, Flexmarkers and Prisma pencils. I used chalks for the image background. I added glaze to her sunglasses and the glass but it doesn't show in the pics.

Wish the weather was like that here today, I could do with a few hours at the beach.

This is another Saturated Canary digital stamp.  I think she is gorgeous, don't know about the rat unless I think of Hugh Jackman's voice coming out of it :)

I Do

An acceptance card I had to make for my friends son's wedding.

Not very good photo's today as it is pouring outside, and don't like using a flash.  The image is from LOTV 'I do'.  I cut the mounts with Spellbinders Grand Circles. Backing paper is from Nitwits. Flowers, lace and pearls from WOC. Butterfly is Cheery Lynn.  Swirls and ribbon from Sam Poole's Creative studios. Leaves are a MS punch.

They are coloured with Promarkers and Prisma pencils and I have added Distress ink to the edges.

I created the inner with Nitwits accessories.

Man at Work

Good morning from a cold, wet and miserable North East England.
Can I start by saying thank you for all the lovely comments that have been left for me, and also welcome to those who have become followers. After looking at the work you all produce I feel honoured that you take an interest in my cards.

So today's card is a complete change from me. My version of distressed, well just a little bit. I also set part of the background on an angle, killed me not to have it straight, and it is a man's card. I only realised this morning that I missed the CES 'No girls allowed' challenge.... thought it closed today.. sheesh.

The image 'Manatwork' is from Just Inklined, cut using Spellbinders long classic rectangles large and scalloped. Tim Holtz Cordinations for mounts. Paper, twine, button, and anchor from my stash. Sentiment from Digital Delights (blank with my words added) and Cardcandy altered to black.

I coloured with Promarkers and Flexmarkers no pencil this time.

The inside is finnished to match the front.

Wee Silver Fairy

Back to pink for this card.  I have used Whimsy Stamps Wee 'Silver Fairy' by Sylvia Zet

I have cut her using Spellbinders Classic Ovals and backed it with Labels 3 and Decorative Lace border. My backing papers were downloaded from The Paper Shelter. Butterfly is a Cheery Lynn die cut.

Flowers and sentiment are from WOC and corners, gems and ribbons are from my stash.

She is coloured with Promarkers, Flexmarkers (now that I have the full set of Promarkers I thought it was time to start collecting the Flexmarkers) and Prisma pencils. I cut a mask and sprayed her wings with Crafters Companion 'Spray and Sparkle' but it doesn't show up well in the photos. The butterfly and flowers in her hair have Stickles applied to them.

I am entering Whimsy Stamps 'Use ribbon',  Wild Orchid Crafts 'Wings and things' and I love Promarkers 'Springtime'.
