Cute Cave Girl - The Paper Shelter - TPS DT

Good morning everyone, back again, but this time with my TPS head on.  Today is the start of a new challenge 'Animal Crackers' and oh my have The Paper Shelter girls made some gorgeous cards for your inspiration this week.

I have used Cute Cave Girl and decided to go with decoupage as Veronica's colouring is so stunning here.

She really is so cute and as for her crazy pet.... So no colouring for me and I used to backing that come with her only adding a couple of layers of co-ordinations and a few pearls from my stash. U also added glossy accents to her eyes and mouth and the the cat's nose and teeth.

There are actually 5 layers to her and the great thing is you get a matching 'plain' backing to use as the insert for your card so it keeps everything matching beautifully.

As always Veronica and Pedro are offering $30 in store credit for a project using a TPS image and 3 digi's of your choice for any other image used.

Heartstrings - Aurora Wings - Passion for Promarkers DT

Good morning everyone, I hope you are all well and that the worst of the weather has now passed us.  Today is the start of a new challenge at Passion for Promarkers where Marie has chosen the theme of ' Make it Digital' (use a digital image and or papers)... lots of scope there.

I have used an image from Aurora Wings with Mitzi's fabulous image 'Heartstrings'. Oh wow can that lady draw and what people can do with these images amazes me. I feel like a true novice when I look at some of the work. Her facebook page is here.

She is straight cut and mounted twice on co-ordinations. All the die cuts are from Tattered lace and I added a few pearls for added dimension. The dp is from First Edition.

She is of course coloured with Promarkers, Flexmarkers and Triamarkers with the addition of a little Prisma pencil and some gold and green Sakura pen to add a little glitter.

The inside does reflect the front and I added a few more die cuts from Tattered Lace.

Stylish Flirting - The Paper Shelter - TPS DT

Hi everyone, back with a card for this weeks The Paper Shelter challenge where the theme this week is  'Be My Valentine'.  I have used one of the newest images 'Stylish Flirting' which I have added to a background from an art deco cd.

I think they work really well together. My backing paper is from Nitwits, Butterfly swirls are from Joanna Sheen. Large hearts and heart border from Joy Crafts and large butterfly from Memory Box.It doesn't show but the dark red is a mixture of red mirror and glitter board.  

They are of course coloured with Triamarkers, Promarkers and Flexmarkers with some added Prisma pencil. I also decided to add a little white pen to highlight the dress, and added glossy accents to her earring.

Wish I could get the sparkle to show :(

Love Balloon - LOTV - Crafts and Me - PFP DT

Good morning everyone. Today I am sharing a card I made for a work colleague who's son is taking his girlfriend to Paris for Valentines day and is going to propose while he is there. It's safe to tell you as they don't blog.  It just so happens that it fits perfectly with this weeks challenge at Passion for Promarkers where Shelly has chosen the theme of 'Have a Heart' (include hearts).

My main image is from LOTV 'Love Balloon' and is from last year but getting it's first outing by me. The Paris skyline is also one I bought ages ago from Crafts and Me.

Flowers from WOC, Large heart is Joy Crafts and small one I think is also from Joy Crafts. Crystal Sprays, ribbon and charms from my stash. 

They are of course coloured with Promarkers, Flexmarkers, Triamarkers and Prisma pencils.

The inside does match the front.
