New Baby - Concertina Card - Winter Wonderland DT, Crafters Companion, Sugar Nellie, Wee Stamps, Mo's Digital Perncil

Good morning and welcome. I'm here today with a new card for the Winter Wonderland challenge, with the theme chosen by Lena, of 'Pastel Colours.
A friend asked me to make a card for a baby who has finally been discharged from the premature baby ward.  So this is what I created.

This card features the gorgeous Bambino stamp from Sugar Nellie.  I made a concertina card with the dies from Crafter's Companion. I really love this image.  The fancy scroll work around the edges are an extra to compliment the main die. The dangly bits are from my stash and are a dummy, angel, teddy bear and a pram.

As you can see he is called Joey, and the letters I added are from TLace stepper card dies.
The centre features images from Mo's Digital Pencil, Wee stamps and Lily of the Valley toppers.

It has 6 pages and as I didn't have thick enough card I ended up cutting 12 and gluing them together.
I coloured the images with Triamarkers, Flexmarkers and Promarkers.

We are being sponsored this week by Di's Digital Stamps and they are giving the winner a $12 gift voucher to spend in store.

The other Snowflakes ladies have created some amazing cards for your inspiration this week and I hope you will check them out here.

Thanks for taking the time to look , don't forget to check back on Monday for the winners of the last challenge

Lily Lullaby - Ching Chou Kuik - Passion for Promarkers DT

Good morning and welcome to another challenge at Passion for Promarkers where Marie has chosen the theme of 'Flowers'.  This can be flowers added to your project, backing paper or an image of Flowers or with flowers.

I have used a digi from Ching chou Kuik called Lily Lullaby which has flowers as part of the image, and added lots more.

I have used a monochrome palate. She is cut using TL ovals with 2 mounts behind her.  The image has so many flowers that I stayed with a plain background and added Lace from Joanna Sheen, Noor corners and Cheery Lynn butterflies and leaf flourish.  Ribbon pearls and dazzler from my stash. The flowers are from WOC.

A close up of the image which is coloured with Triamarkers, Flexmarkers and Promarkers. I  added a little glitter to her hair ornaments and some Nuvo drops to the butterflies.

A view of the inside with TL roses and a CC sentiment.

We are lucky to have 2 generous sponsors this week.  Firstly we have Michele R Designs who is offering one lucky winner a €10.00 voucher to spend in their online store.

Art Deco Melody - Lemon Shortbread - Crafts and Me - Fussy and Fancy DT

Hello again.  I am back with a card for the Fussy and Fancy DT, where our theme this week is 'Fashion' and was chosen by Tone.  This is an image that can be purchased at 'Crafts and Me' and is Art Deco Melody from Lemon Shortbread.  I bought this image ages ago and never got around to using it.

She is cut using a TL oval with a nestie behind her.  The deco style flourishes are from Tonic.  The dp is a DCWV and I layered with card from CC.

I coloured her with Triamarkers, Flexmarkers and Promarkers, added a little distress ink around the edges and added gems from my stash.  It doesn't show in the photos but I used Sakura pens to her neckline and hipline.

A view of the inside but this time I used a tonic oval and deckled oval, and the sentiment is a magazine freebie.

We are  being sponsored this week by Sweet Lilac Flowers, and they are offering the winner a special prize.

I have to admit to being in awe of the talent of the ladies on the Fussy and Fancy team and you can find your inspiration here, I really hope you click on the link and take a look.

Thanks for looking today

Snowman Broom - Crafty Sentiments - Winter Wonderland DT

Good morning everyone. I am here today for my first post of the day, and it's for the Winter Wonderland DT where our theme this week chosen by me is 'Glitter and Shine'.  This is my first post as DT coordinator for the Snowflakes team, so I had to have lots of snowflakes.  One of our sponsor this week Crafty Sentiments, and  I have used the really cute image of 'Snowman Broom' which you can find here.

The background is straight cut with the corners rounded, and I fussy cut him to make him stand out.  The snowflakes cut from mirror board are from a MS punch around the page set.  The Sentiment is by Crafts too.
My christmas present to me was a Heidi Swapp Minc machine and the blue layer inside the mirror board is made from blue foil.

I didn't do much colouring, but what little there is was using Promarkers.  I used 3 different glitters, gold and brown on the broom and white on him, and I so wish I cold get it to show in the photos.  I also added glossy accents to his nose buttons and eyes.

We have two wonderful sponsors this week, one as I have said is Crafty Sentiments who are offering the winner 3 digi's of their choice from their store

and The Craft Barn who have generously giving the winner a £10 voucher to spend in store

The other Snowflakes ladies have made some fabulous cards for you inspiration this week, I hope you will visit them and also say hello to our new teamies here.

Thanks for taking the time to look, and I hope you will join in with our challenge this week.  Remember it doesn't have to be Christmas themed (not in January or February)

Can I Keep Them - Aurora Wings

Good morning and welcome to my two new followers :)  I'm here with a card I forgot to blog that made for the Aurora Wings December Challenge, luckily I have realised before the entries close.  I have used the fabulously cute 'Can I Keep Them' image by Mitzi.

I went with a dramatic colour scheme.  She is cute using SB Decorative labels 8 and mounted onto a straight cut rectangle with the corners rounded.  The backing behind her uses a Tonic Lych Gate die. Ribbon, pearls and button from my stash.

She is coloured with Triamarkers, Flexmarkers and Promarkers with Prisma pencils for more definition and distress ink inside the frame.

This shows the inside with more of the Tonic die used.

I am entering the following challenges :-

Madison Attitude - Kenny K Stamps - Winter Wonderland DT

Good morning and welcome to the first challenge of the year for Winter Wonderland.  It's not my week to post but I wanted to join in the fun too.

There have been many changes at Winter Wonderland over the past few weeks.  Lynsey and Deborah have stepped down as DT coordinators, and to prevent the blog closing Alison and I have taken over running it.

We didn't know what we were taking on until we were in the thick of it, trying to sort out teams as we had lost a few people over the past 3 months. Fortunately we had a DT call in October and took the name of our new members from those entries.

The list on the side of the blog should be up to date now and we will be welcoming the new 'Snowflakes' before next weeks challenge.

The other major change that we have made is around when winners are announced.  Over the past year one person chose a challenge theme but the next person actually chose the winners, strange I know.  So now our challenges will continue to be on Fridays but the winners will be announced on Mondays after that challenge has closed.

Phew, now onto my card for this week.  I chose to use the uber cute 'Madison Attitude' from Kenny  K for our theme of 'Spring is in the Air', which was chosen by Alison, and
what better thing to do than shopping in spring sales.

Sorry the lighting isn't very good but we haven't seen sunshine in the North East for a week.  She is cut using a TL oval with two mounts behind her.  The papers are from Nitwits. Card Candi, ribbon and rose from my stash.

She is coloured with Triamarkers, Flexmarkers and Promarkers, and I added the background with my Ebrush.

The inside does match the front, but reversed.  The sentiment was computer generated.

We have 2 generous sponsors this week,

Michele Roos who is offering a  €10
voucher to spend in store
and

Kenny K Stamps who are giving three digi's of your choice from their store.

I am entering the following challenge ;-

I hope you have the time to check out the fabulous cards the Icicle Ladies have made for your inspiration this week, you can find them here.

Flower Fairy - All Dressed Up - Passion for Promarkers DT

Good morning, and to those I haven't said it to Happy New Year.  Today is the first challenge of the year for Passion for Promarkers where our theme chosen by Lucy is 'Monochrome'. I have used a really cute image from All Dressed Up called 'Flower Fairy'.

I went with a pink theme. She is cut and framed with a Tonic Verso Die and mounted onto paper and card from my stash.

This isn't the best of photo's as I have forgotten what sunshine looks like as we have day after day of rain and dark clouds. She is coloured with Triamarkers, Flexmarkers and Promarkers and I added some Nuvo glitter to the flowers and to her wings.

It doesn't show in the photos but the sentiment was created using my new toy (a Minc machine) and is really shiney IRL.  I cut the sentiment using a SB banner. The ribbon, pearls and paper are from my stash.

The inside does match the front.

We are being sponsored this week by 'All Dressed Up' and they are offering the winner 2 digis as a prize this week.

Don't forget, to enter the challenge you must use Letraset products, Promarkers, Flexmarkers, Triamarkers, Aquamarkers or Metallic Markers. (could you please also state which ones you used). The other ladies on Team 1 have made some fabulous cards for your inspiration this week and you can find them here.
