Enchanted Dream - The Paper Shelter - TPS DT

Good morning everyone, back again, this time with my TPS head on.  This weeks challenge is to use lace and pearls, so easy to do.
I decided to do a decoupage card for a change, why bother to colour something that is already coloured so beautifully by the very talented Veronica.  This is 'Enchanted Dreams'.

She is straight cut and mounted onto gold mirror board and coordinations card.  The ribbon, lace and sliders came from 'The Ribbon Girls' and the pearl strip is from 'The Hobby House'.  The little gold birds on the branches are one of the new dies from Tattered Lace.

I wish I could get the layers to show a little better, but there are 5 layers on it.

A really simple card to make up (still have to finish the inside which will match the front as with TPS images you also get the background without the image in the set).

I hope you will join in with this weeks challenge where the prize as always from Veronica and Pedro is a $30 voucher if you use a TPS image, or 3 digi's of your choice for any other image.

The other girls have made some beautiful cards for your inspiration this week that can be found here.
Thanks for taking the time to look

Christmas Dancing - LOTV - PFP DT

Good afternoon everyone and welcome to my new follower Avril, so glad you decided to join me.
I finally got back to the opticians this morning and new glasses (the others were too strong) should be ready tomorrow so hopefully I will be able to sit at the PC for more than a few minutes without getting a headache.

Our new challenge over at Passion for Promarkers today has been chosen by the fabulous Nic and she's picked a recipe for you:

Three Papers, One Image, One Sentiment and Three Embellishments (which can be 3 the same or 3 different ones.
I have used a LOTV image that I bought last year and never got inked up, 'Christmas Dancin'. 3 papers, 1 sentiment, 1 image, 1 ribbon, flowers and gems.

My papers are from LOTV. She is cut with SB labels 28 with a faux nestie behind her. A MB corner and SB poinsettia with 2 smaller Nellie Snellen Poinsettias.  My different papers are cut with Dynamics fishtail tags. Ribbon and pearls from my stash.

She is of course coloured with Promarkers, Flexmarkers, Triamarkers and a touch of Prisma Pencil.  The edges are all inked with Stormy Sky distress ink. The stars have been coloured with a Sakura pen and I added Glamour Dust around her fur.

The inside does match the front.

I hope you will join in with this weeks challenge where the wonderful Bugaboo are offering 7 images to the winner. The other Team 1 girls have made some fab cards for your inspiration this week, and you can see them here.

Wish Upon a Star - Sugar Nellie

Good morning everyone and welcome to my new follower Sharon, delighted to have you join me.  Between the headaches (the new glasses have made them worse) I have managed to put together a card.  I promised myself at the start of the year that I would make a Christmas card at least once a month, but of course I haven't managed it.

Today I have used a Sugar Nellie image that I bought ages ago 'Wish Upon a Star'. I think she is so sweet.

She is cut with a SB grand circle and mounted on a stately circle. The ivy corners are from Marrianne. I can't remember who makes the poinsettia die . Sentiment from Whimsy and ribbon from my stash. Backing paper is from LOTV.

She is of course coloured with Promarkers, Flexmarkers, Triamarkers and a little Prisma pencil.  I added Glamour Dust, Ice Crystals,Viva Decor Pearl pen and Glossy accents (to the bells on her shoes and her button).

The inside does reflect the front.

Monica - Hannah Lynn - Crafts and Me

Good evening everyone from the really bad blogger.  I have a peace offering for you so check back later.
I am starting to get used to the new glasses, I think??. Can still only spend a while on the pc without getting a headache, but hopefully that will improve this week.
I bought this Hannah Lynn image 'Monica' ages ago and finally got her inked up.

I think she is gorgeous. Wow now how many things did I use on this card that have never seen the light of day before?  Memory box dies Fabulous Phlox, Chloe stem, Dancing Poppies. Cheery Lynn  Spring Flower Burst Doily, and Tim Holz on the edge butterflies.
She is straight cut with the corners rounded and mounted on a SB labels 23.

I also went embossing mad and added black sparkle embossing powder to the mount and outer edge mat, and Frantage to the butterflies.

She is of course coloured with Promarkers, Flexmarkers and Triamarkers. Pearls and charm are from my stash. As a finishing touch I added glossy accents to her eyes, lips and to the butterfly in her hair.

The inside does match the front.

Vintage Seamstress - The Paper Shelter

OMG back again !!!! Amazing what being on DT makes you do. Still not really in the cardmaking blogging frame of mind but needs must. I did go to the opticians today and new glasses will be ready tomorrow so hopefully my head will clear. I am going to sort out a gift voucher for putting up with my bad blogging at the end of the week as an apology for not stating what wonderful cards you have been making over the past few weeks so watch this space.
Today sees the start of a new challenge at The Paper Shelter where we want to see you 'Use those Ribbons'.
For my card today I have used an image that I instantly fell in love with when it appeared a few weeks ago, Vintage Seamstress'.

She is such a cutie. No die cuts today just straight cutting. The DP was from Create and Craft 'Grandma's Sewing Box' but I can't remember who produced it. Measuring tape ribbon from Crafty Ribbons, charms from Live and Love Crafts (I think?) Sentiment from LOTV and buttons from my stash. All mounted on Coordinations.

She is of course coloured with Promarkers, Flexmarkers, Triamarkers and Prisma Pencils. There is also a hint of Walnut distress ink around her. I added some viva decor pearl to the pin heads and to her earring.

Of course our prize as always is a $30 voucher to spend in the store if you use a TPS image or 3 digis of your choice for any other image

My other teamies have made some fab cards for your inspiration this week and I hope you will pop over and have a look at them, and of course enter the challenge.

Love me do - Sylvia Zet

Good afternoon everyone. Sorry to have been missing yet again but I had a huge list of commissioned cards to complete and with a missing mojo it took forever. So today's card is one of them. I used another gorgeous Sylvia Zet image 'Love me do'.

This shows the inside of the card. It is cut with a SB Adorning Square with the outer edges of a Marianne Anja square as a mat. The corners are from Joy crafts and the sentiments are cut with SB Romantic Rectangles. I embossed the coordinations card with the folder I got free with the Ebosser.  I also added stickles to the flowers. It is of course coloured with Promarkers, Flexmarkers, Triamarkers and a little Prisma Pencil.

This is the outside of the card. I used Marianne anja corners and CL lace border.  The leaves are a Crealies die and MS punch. Pearl flourish from Creative expressions, flowers from WOC, flower pearl strips from Hobby House. Ribbon, pearls, buckle and charm from my stash. (ps... I did notice after taking the photos that I had lost a corner pearl and added another one)

You can't have a fancy card without a box to go with it :)
