Petal - LOTV - Winter Wonderland DT

Good morning and welcome to the last challenge of the year for Winter Wonderland. It is also the start of a few months where your cards or project needn't be Christmas themed. Our theme this week is Fussy and Fancy.  I have chosen to use 'Petal' from LOTV.

She is cut using SB majestic labels 25 and mounted onto a Marianne Anga Square. The pearls are from Hobby House and ribbon, lace and pin from my stash. I haven't added a sentiment as I think it can be an 'anything' card as she looks so thoughtful.

She is of course coloured with Promarkers, Flexmarkers and Triamarkers. I also added a little Prisma pencil and some glamour dust to her wings. The background is distress ink.

The inside does reflect the front.

As this is our last challenge for 2014 it will last for 2 weeks and we have four great prizes on offer!  These are our generous sponsors:

£10 Voucher from the The Hobby House

£10 Voucher from Wild Orchid

£10 Voucher for Crafter's Companion

The girls on the design team have made some fabulous cards for you inspiration this week I hope you will pop over and see them here

Balloon Basket - LOTV

Good afternoon everyone. I thought I would share a card I made for a commission.  It's for a baby girl and I couldn't resist finally using this beautiful Stamp.

I have been playing with the new toy again (Ebrush) and think you will see lots more of these masked backgrounds. She is cut using SB grand ovals and mounted on a grand decorative oval. The corners are Joy crafts sentiment from Joanna Sheen and leaf flourishes from Marianne.  The papers are Dovecraft, flowers from WOC and charms, pearls, ribbon lace and butterfly from my stash.

She is coloured using promarkers and flexmarkers and I added glossy accents to the balloon and hearts and stickles to the stars.

The inside does reflect the front.

This is the box I made to match.

Poinsettia Sprite - Aurora Wings - Passion for Promarkers Mega Christmas Challenge

Good morning everyone and welcome to the start of our mega Christmas challenge at Passion for Promarkers which runs from today until 6th January 2015. Yes the DT are taking a month long break but not before trying to encourage you to enter and try to win one of our fabulous prizes. I decided to use a gorgeous image from Aurora Wings and that's Poinsettia Sprite.

She is cut using Tattered Lace rectangles and mounted onto LOTV paper. The sentiment is from Memory Box and most of the flowers are from WOC with the addition of some birch cones from a local tree and leaves from table confetti.

She is of course coloured with Promarkers, Flexmarkers and Triamarkers with the addition of Stickles glitter in red gold and green.

The inside does reflect the front but this time in reverse with the green based paper and ribbon.

I also added some holly branches from Sue Wilson.

Our theme for the Mega Christmas challenge is “bingo”.  You are welcome to make Christmas cards but as the challenge will still be running after the ‘BIG’ day you can of course make any type of creation as long as you use the bingo board.  As time is precious for our DT at this time of year we are limiting the number of entries you can make to just 3 for this month long challenge.  Please remember to be eligible for our prizes you must use your promarkers, flex markers, tria markers, metallic or aqua markers.
Here is the bingo board you must use for your creations (you can use any line horizontal, vertical or diagonal).  Please tell us which line you have used in your post:

Winter Lights Wryn - Tiddlinks - Winter Wonderland DT

Good morning everyone and welcome to a new challenge at Winter Wonderland, where our theme this week is 'North or South Pole'.  We want to see your festive makes featuring either a penguin or polar bear, or both.

I've had great fun playing with an early Christmas present, the Craftwell E Brush.  Unfortunately the pen holders for the Promarker range aren't available yet, but should be in the New Year.  You do get a red, blue and green Spectrum Noir with the set so I was still able to play. I have used the Tiddlyinks digi 'Winter Lights Wryn', who is riding on a polar bear.

So my background was made using masks and the Ebrush.  The trees are Sheena Douglas stamps, and the Santa and sleigh is from Cheery Lynn.  The mounts are just straight cut.  The sentiment is from Creative Expressions.

They are coloured using Promarkers, and Flexmarkers.  I used the lightest cool grey to try to give his coat some texture. I know it doesn't show well but I also added Glamour Dust to her fur, the hills and around the moon.

The inside has the addition of a Sheena Douglas Sentiment and a Memory Box deer.

We are very lucky this week to be sponsored by Marianne who are giving a special prize to the winner.

The other Snowflake girls have made some fabulous cards this week for your inspiration and can be found here.
