Pug Love - Ching Chou Kuik - Passion for Promarkers DT

Good morning I am back today with a card for our new challenge at Passion for Promarkers.  The theme chosen by Julie is 'Blue Skies' (shades of blue).  I have used another Ching Chou Kuik image, 'Pug Love'.  It's for my nieces birthday and she is mad about Pugs.

For a change I have made a stepper card using the Tattered lace template die. So easy to use as it comes with all the layers as well as the main shape of the card.  The Celtic border is from Cheery Lynn. Side panel decoration from Joy Crafts. Flowers from WOC and ribbon from my stash.  The text was on the front of a TL magazine.

She is of course coloured with Promarkers, Flexmarkers and Triamarkers.  I used a spectrum noir pen in my EBrush to create the blue sky. (Unfortunately the adapter for Promarkers isn't available yet so I did buy a pack of 6 blue SNs)

No glitter this time but I did add glossy accents to the Pugs nose and eyes, and to her eyes.

We are being sponsored this week by Little Claire who are offering one of their design sets (Changing Birdhouse click HERE to see it on site)

Sabrina - Saturated Canary

Another card just for fun. I am off work with neck problems and filling my time making cards. Thank goodness for electronic cutting machines :)
So today I have coloured up the beautiful Sabrina from Saturated Canary. I know she is called Sabrina, but to me she is Alice in Wonderland.

She is cut using SB Grand Scalloped Ovals and Grand Ovals, and layered up 8 times !!!  Love the navy and pink together. The backing paper is from Nitwits, flowers from WOC, leaves woodware and MS punches. Ribbon and Pearls from my stash.

She is coloured with promarkers and Flexmarkers, with distress ink to the background.

The inside does match the front.

I have one other thing to add.

Would you like to be more prepared at Christmas?
Do you love making Christmas cards/projects?
Would you like to join an easy going, fun loving, friendly Design Team?

If the answer is yes to the above questions then you could be just the person we are looking for at Winter Wonderland
.

We are looking for two new DT members and we are therefore inviting applications.

You do not need to have previous experience of DT membership, just be enthusiastic and a regular blogger. We have two teams so you will need to be able to make a card/project once a fortnight. We take it in turns to host the challenges and choose the winners. You will also be expected to comment on one number in every ten.

If this sounds like the challenge for you then please go to the Winter Wonderland Blog

Please link to your blog address not a specific post so we can stop by to visit you.

Applications will be open until 5.00 pm on 10th April 2015.

Sunshine - Ching Chou Kuik

Oh my posting after only one day.  This one is just for fun. I totally adore this image 'Sunshine' by Ching Chou Kuik and have had her coloured up for a while but was undecided about the background colours I used, so I went with a nice spring green.

I thought the green really makes the image pop.  She is fussy cut and mounted onto SB Grand Oval and Scalloped Grand oval. The 'lace' and corners are from Tattered Lace. I also added ribbon and pearl from my stash.  The backing paper is from Nitwits.

She is of course coloured with Promarkers and Flexmarkers. I added brown glitter to the sunflowers, gold to her hair and dress, and green to the leaves, sorry it doesn't show very well in the photo's.

Even a different angle doesn't show the glitter.

The inside does reflect the front.

Lullaby - Sylvia Zet - Wee Stamps - Winter Wonderland DT

Good morning everyone and welcome to a new challenge at Winter Wonderland.  Today our challenge 'Embossing Wet or Dry' has been chosen by the lovely Lorraine. I have used a beautiful image by Sylvia Zet ' Lullaby'.

She is straight cut and I used a Darice embossing folder for the background. The flowers are from WOC and the holly sprays are a Sue Wilson die. The ribbon and matt silver mirror board are from my stash.

She is coloured with Promarkers,  and I added  glamour dust to her wings, flowersoft and glistening ice writer to the branch.  The background was filled using an EBrush.

This one shows the embossing a little better

Cinnamon Sugar - Elizabeth Bell - Passion for Promarkers DT

Good morning everyone. Today is the start of a new challenge at Passion for Promarkers, and this week I have chosen the theme of 'Check it Out'. We need to have checks, plaid or gingham somewhere on your creation.  I have used an old stamp from Elizabeth Bell, don't even know if it's still available as it was one of the first I bought.

She is cut using SB Lacy rectangles and all the other pieces are just straight cut.  The papers and 'extras' are from a Nitwit collection called Grannies Kitchen. The pearls are from my stash.

She is of course coloured with Promarkers and  Flexmarkers and I added Prisma Pencil for more depth.

This is a view of the inside.

We are being sponsored this week by the Digi Stamp Boutique, who are offering a £10 voucher to spend in store to the winner

Spritz - Saturated Canary - Winter Wonderland DT

Good morning and welcome to a new challenge at Winter Wonderland where our theme this week chosen by Carol is 'Blue Christmas'. The main colour on your card has to be blue and of course Christmas themed.
I have used an old Saturated Canary image 'Spritz' who I think is just too cute for words.

I think he is one of the best SC images. He is cut using C&C essential plain and decaled rectangles. The holly branches are from Sue Wilson. Small snowflakes are MS. Backing paper from Nitwits and ribbon and pearl from my stash.

He is coloured with Promarkers, flexmarkers and tria markers with distress ink around the edges. I also added Pearl drops to the holly berries and snowflakes.

The highlight around the papers is turquoise pastel metallic.

The inside does reflect the front.

We are being sponsored this week by Crafty Sentiments who are offering the winner 3 digi's of their choice from their shop

Daffodils - Mo's Digital Pencil - Passion for Promarkers DT

Good morning everyone. Today we have a new challenge starting at Passion for Promarkers, where Shelly (who has now returned to us after maternity leave :))has chosen the theme 'Lovely Lilac and Lemon'. Two colours that I love using together.

I have used another image from Mo Manning, 'Daffodils'. Such a lovely image which really does shout spring is coming.
She is cut using SB grand squares and adding Nitwits papers and coordination layers. The flowers are all from WOC. The lace edger is one of the new 'Victoria' dies from Tattered Lace. The butterfly is MBox, ribbon, pearls and 'dazzler' from my stash. The leaves are a mixture of MB and a MS punch.

She is coloured with Promarkers, Flexmarkers and Tria Markers. It doesn't show very well but I added stickles to her hair and some of the flowers.

This is the inside where I used a TL Victoria doily to make the corners and the flower was in the centre.

I hope you will take the time to join in with us this week. Our sponsor is Crafty Sentiments who are offering the winner a choice of 3 digi's from their store
