Birthday Fairy - Tiddlyinks - Passion for Promarkers DT

Good morning hope you are seeing the sun more than we are in the North East. Today is the start of a new challenge at Passion for Promarkers where Shelly has chosen the theme 'Rainbows'.  This can be an actual rainbow or using the colours of a rainbow.
I must admit that you will problably need sunglasses to look at my card this week as I have gone a little overboard with the theme.  I used an image from Tiddlyinks 'Birthday fairy' and added a sentiment from another of their digi's.

She is straight cut and mounted onto 8 layers of card.  The separate rainbow is a MB die which I coloured then covered in matt varnish.  The background is airbrushed with my Ebrush. The pearls are from my stash, I did have to change the colours on a couple of them to get all the rainbow colours.

I also added glamour dust to her wings.  She is of course coloured with Triamarkers, Flexmarkers and Promarkers.

This is the inside which as usual reflects the front of the card.

We are being sponsored this week by Polka Doodles,

Polkadoodles
who are offering the winner these two gorgeous images

Christmas Candles - Winter Wonderland DT - Just Right - Memory Box

Good morning everyone. Today is the start of a new challenge at Winter Wonderland where lovely Lena is our host. Our theme this week is 'Anything but a card', so time to think a little out of the box.  I decided to decorate a couple of candles (still got another 6 to make).

I really love making these as they are so simple to do, but anyone who isn't a crafter thinks they are so special.  They are lovely scented candles from Asda.

This one has a scan of a Memory Box candle on it. I cut it in white and then coloured and scanned it.  The sentiment is computer generated too.

I found stamping onto tissue paper and trying to colour wasn't very successful as there was too much detail on this large stamp from Just Right, so again I stamped and coloured it as normal and then printed to tissue paper.

We are being sponsored this week by one of my favourite shops Crafts U Love

Who are offering a £10 voucher to the lucky winner.

The other Snowflake girls have made some beautiful examples to give you inspiration this week and you can find them here

Golfer - LOTV

Good morning and welcome to my new followers.  I was delighted to be invited to join the 'Fussy and Fancy' girls team, and look forward to working with them. (my first challenge isn't till July, but it's almost finished :) ).
Today I have a card that was commissioned by a friend who recently had her pregnancy confirmed, and much wanted and waited for baby.  Her partner plays golf so that was the theme she chose.  I have used and image from LOTV and teamed it up with some Nitwits papers.

He is cut using SB squares and grand squares. The sentiment is mounted onto a Radiant rectangle. I airbrushed the sky using my Ebrush. pearls from my stash.

He is coloured with Triamarkers, Flexmarkers and Promarkers and I added glossy accents to the golf clubs.

She sent me a beautiful verse to add to the inside and I added MB heart corners.

I am entering the following challenges :-

Birthday Surprise Boy - Mo's Digital Pencil - Passion for Promarkers DT

Good morning everyone, it's time for a new challenge at Passion for Promarkers where Nic has chosen the theme of 'masculine'. It was my great-great nephew's first birthday yesterday and here is one of the cards I made for him.  The image (Birthday Surprise Boy) is from 'Mo's Digital Pencil'.

He is cut using Tattered Lace circles. The layers are co-ordinations and the paper and ribbon are from my stash.  The text is a mixture of T.lace and Desire.  The stars are from a MB star border.

I just love the expression on his face as he tries to burst that balloon. He is coloured with Triamarkers, Flexmarkers and Promarkers.

This is a view of the inside where the sentiment is from  Crafts too and the train is a MB.

We are being sponsored this week by Sassy Studio designs who are offering 4 digi's to the lucky winner.
My other teamies have made some great cards for your inspiration this week and you can find their cards here

Don't forget, to enter our challenge you must use Letraset products (Pro, Flex ,Tria, Aqua, Metalic markers)

Christmas Star - LOTV - Winter Wonderland DT

Good morning everyone. Today is the start of a new challenge at Winter Wonderland where the lovely Carol is hosting the theme ' A touch of gold or silver' this can be your image or an embellishment.
I have used a LOTV stamp 'Christmas Star', one of my favourites.

I certainly used some silver mirror board on this one :). She is straight cut and mounted onto a WRS snowflake frame.  The poinsettia and holly branches are Sue Wilson dies. The sentiment is MB, ribbon from the Ribbon Girls and pearls from my stash.

She is coloured with Triamarkers, Flexmarkers and Promarkers. I added copious amounts of Glamour Dust to the stars, tree and ground, and added some flowersoft to it for the 'fur' on her coat.  The background was airbrushed with my EBrush.

Everything is mounted onto some navy shimmer card. IRL it really does look really sparkly.  I finally remembered to add some 'Stick it' (from Crafter's Companion) to the back of the card before cutting the dies. Really easy to use and no glue oozing out.

The inside does reflect the front .

We are being sponsored this week by the lovely Michele of MR Designs. She is offering the lucky winner a voucher for 20 euros to spend in store on her beautiful backing papers and embellishments

I hope you will take the time to visit the Winter Wonderland blog and also visit the other team snowflakes sites to see the fabulous cards they have made for your inspiration this week. Don't forget it has to be a Christmas project.
