Spring Flower Hair - A Day for Daisies - Passion for Promarkers DT

Good morning, I am back with my 'Passion for Promarkers' hat on today and we have Marie as our host.  She has chosen a theme of 'Make it Digital'.  A really easy one for you to use, if like me you hundreds of digital images.
I have used 'Spring Flower Hair' from A 'Day for Daisies', I've had it for a while and it was a dream to colour up. I don't think it matches our weather atm as it's trying to snow.

I don't know why I have over 1,000 dies, as yet again I have been straight cutting again.  I did manage to use one layer of Scalloped squares from SB's. The papers are also digital and from Nitwits. I added MB corners I adore anything by Rennie MacIntosh and these do look as if he designed them. The flowers are all from WOC and the ribbon pearls and dazzler are from my stash.

A close up of the image,I love this combination of colours from Promarkers, Flexmarkers and Triamarkers, and I think the tiny pearls work perfectly with the image.

A side view to show the depth of the flowers.

The inside where I added a couple of MB roses, and their birthday sentiment (with the loops cut off the bottom)  The sentiment is from Penny Black.

We are being sponsored this week by 'Too Cute To Ink' and they are offering the lucky winner a choice of three images from their store

2 cute ink logo

I hope you will check in at Passion for Promarkers to see the amazing cards the DT have made for your inspiration this week.

So come on, forget the awful weather and get you Promarkers, Flexmarkers, Triamarkers, Aquamarkers out and do some colouring. Can you please state on your post which Letraset products you have used.

Thanks for taking the time to look

Winter Blossoms - Bugaboo stamps - Winter Wonderland DT

Good morning, it's Friday and time for a new challenge at Winter Wonderland where Marie is our host and has chosen the theme of 'Winter Blossoms' so we want to see poinsettias Christmas roses etc. They can be made by you, part of the background paper or bought complete.  It's up to you with lots of scope to make something different too.
I have used a Bugaboo Digi called 'Deck the halls' and I know a couple of ladies who look just like her :)

She is straight cut and mounted on red mirror card, and I cut the frame with SB Grand Squares. (I know the red mirror card looks wrinkled, but it
is a reflection of the foil light catcher that I use). The sentiment comes with the stamp.   I tried something new in using some glittered hessian that I found in a local shop. The poinsettia is made with SB dies. I think

A close up of the image . I added Glossy Accents to her glasses and the holly berries. The pearls are from my stash/

She is coloured using Flexmarkers, Triamarkers and Promarkers, and I added some Prisma pencil for more definition.

A view of the inside where I reversed the colours. The die cut is from Wild Rose Studio and the sentiment is from Whimsy Stamps.

We are very lucky to have 2 fabulous sponsors this week, Bugaboo stamps are giving the winner a choice of 7 digi's of their choice

and The Craft Barn are giving a £10 voucher to spend in store.

The Craft Barn

So that's it, a nice easy theme. You can get inspiration from the other Snowflake ladies on the Winter Wonderland blog, and I hope you will check them out here.  Don't forget your project must follow the theme and be a Christmas project.

Thanks for taking the time to look
Don't forget to check back on Monday to find out the winner of the 'Pink or Blue' Card

Pearls - Aurora Wings Challenge #27 - Say it with flowers - DT Guest Designer

Good morning or afternoon, depending on where you are.  I was delighted to receive an email from Mitzi (Aurora Wings Artist) a couple of months ago asking if I would like to be a Guest designer for the Aurora Wings Challenge Blog. It took me a whole 5 seconds to say yes.
I love working with her images, and the main problem I faced was which image to use.  In the end I chose Pearls which can be found here.
I have to admit that I wouldn't like to be the person posting this card as not only is it an 8'x8' but it is really heavy due to all the layers.

She did take a while to colour up and I admit that this was the 4th version. She is straight cut, as are all the layers. The corner swirl is from Tonic, and the DP is from Nitwits and I actually chose my colours from the paper. The black layers are all made from black mirror board that really does pick up the light well.

A close up of the image. She is coloured with Triamarkers, Flexmarkers and Promarkers. I added glossy accents to her eyes and earrings.

I was trying unsuccessfully to show that I also added SN clear sparkle to the pearls in her hair.

The flowers are all from WOC and the butterfly, pearls, ribbon and button are all from my stash.

A view of the middle of the card.

I am sure there are thousands of Aurora Wings fans out there, and hope many of you will join in with the Challenge which can be found here.

It only remains for me to say a huge thank you to Mitzi and all her designers for allowing me to be a guest on her fabulous blog.

Thanks for taking the time to look

White Poppies - Aurora Wings

Would you believe it, I'm back again. This time with a card for the Aurora Wings Challenge. I have used the fabulous image 'White Poppies' which can be found here    but of course I didn't make them white. I don't know why but I am having an orange/coral  thing at the moment.

This is my version of 'White Poppies'  It's more of a sultry summer  card than a welcome Spring.  All Layers are straight cut, and yet again I haven't used any DP and just let the colour of the layers do the work. The metal work. gems and ribbon are from my stash.

She is coloured with Triamarkers, Flexmarkers and Promarkers.  I also added nuvo glitter and drops to the centre of the flowers.

IRL the gems really do sparkle, and I think it does show a little on this one

The middle does reflect the front of the card but I had a personal message in it

Cherry Blossom Sprite, corner and border - Aurora Wings - Magnolia-licious - Fussy and Fancy DT

Hello I'm back again with my second post of the day, this time it's for the fabulous Fussy and Fancy DT.
Our host for the next two weeks is the lovely Beth, and she chose the theme of Green and Pink. The two colours go so well together. I have used 3 images from Aurora Wings Cherry Blossom Sprite, Cherry Blossom corner and Cherry Blossom border, which can all be found here

I didn't want to add too much to the card as I feel the images are perfect as they are, No glitter or die cuts.  Th layer behind the image is a Diesire Blossom embossing folder, and the ribbon, gems and dazzler are from my stash.  All the layers are straight cut and have their corners clipped.

She is coloured with Triamarkers,  Flexmarkers and Promarkers

A view  of the inside of the card. The sentiment is a magazine freebie.

We are being sponsored this week by Magnolia-licious

You can use any image as long as you follow the theme.

Mr & Mrs Snow - Crafty Sentiments - Winter Wonderland DT

Hello and welcome to my new followers, Thank you for the lovely comments you left me. This is the first of two posts for today. Over at Winter Wonderland the lovely Carol S. is our host, and she has chosen the theme of 'Baubles'.  These can be part of the image, on the backing paper, die cuts or even a card in the shape of a bauble. Today I have used 'Mr & Mrs Snow' which is available here.

I used a MB die to create the aperture and added snow covered acetate to form the front of my shaker card. the white images are digital punches from My Craft Studio, and the sentiment was computer generated and foiled. The ribbon and matt gold mirror board are from my stash.

This shows more detail, I added a Cheery Lynn icicle boarder, and some Marianne trees. I added lots of Glamour dust in white and gold.  I also discovered that if you use Pinflair ice crystals as the shaker fill that they don't stick to the acetate due to not producing any static.

A side view, trying to show the filling.

A view of the inside, again with a computer generated sentiment.

We are lucky once again to be sponsored by Crafty Sentiments, where the prize this week is 3 digi's of your choice from the on line store.

I have to say that the snowflake ladies have made some fabulous cards for your inspiration this week, and you can find them here.

Don't forget you project has to follow the theme and be a Christmas project.
