Kids - Crafty Sentiments Guest Designer

Good morning. Today is the start of a new challenge at Crafty Sentiments where our theme is 'Kids', a really easy one, with dozens of really cute kids to choose from in the Crafty Sentiments store which can be found here.
I chose to use 'Henry - Why not' for this weeks challenge.  Do you ever have days when you just cant get anything right and have to start again?  I have 5 ripped up images to show that Saturday/Sunday were definitely those sort of days. To top it off this card I am posting is going to have to be taken apart as I somehow managed to stick the front and the back on the same of the card, something I have never done before.
Anyway back to my card.

Isn't he adorable?  He really does look as if he could never be naughty.  He is fussy cut, and I have used Nitwit papers to mount him on with a couple of layers of silver mirror board. This sentiment i from tattered lace. I was going to add some Tim Holtz  screw head brads, but after looking for them for an hour I couldn't fine the 'safe' place I had put them in (more frustration).
He is coloured with a variety of Letraset pens.

The sentiment inside is computer generated

The prize this week is 3 digis of your choice from the online store,

The other ladies on the design team have some fabulous cards for your inspiration this week, and they can be found here

Hibiscus Sprite - Aurora Wings

Good morning. I'm back with a just for fun image (not for a DT).  I almost forgot about the latest Aurora Wings Challenge, and it closes today.  I did colour this one up a while ago, and thought the 'Touch of Class' challenge is perfect for her. I chose to use 'Hibiscus Sprite'

She certainly looks as if she exudes class to me. I certainly had a red, black and gold phase at the time of colouring her.  She is straight cut and mounted onto black card, red glitter card and gold mirror board. The ribbon, gems and dazzler are from my stash.

A close up of the image and you can hardly see it in the photo, but the stamens have gold Nuvo glitter applied to them. She is coloured with Promarkers, flexmarkers and Triamarkers.

A view of the inside.  The sentiment is a Diesire die cut in red glitter card, and the corner punch is from a set I bought years ago and forgot I had.

I am entering the following challenges :-

Joy of Christmas - Crafty Sentiments - Winter Wonderland DT

Good afternoon, did someone say Summer has arrived? I had to turn on the central heating.  Hope it is warmer where you are.
I forgot to reschedule this post after changing the photo's I took last night for some taken in daylight today.  So today is the start of a new challenge at Winter Wonderland where the theme of 'sparkle and shine' was chosen by Anet.

I have used our sponsors image 'Joy of Christmas' and made a little scene.

It is really difficult to get the sparkle to show in photo's, but there is lots of it on there. He is fussy cut and I made the tree frame using die cuts from Memory Box and Presscut.  The fir trees are from Noor Designs. The sentiment from MB and the snowflake acetate is from Hunkydory.

I added Flowersoft to the snowman, Glamour Dust to all the trees and the sentiment and clear crystal beads to lots of the snowflakes

We are being sponsored this week by Crafty Sentiments who are giving the winner their choice of 3 digi's from their online shop

Winter Wonderland's 7th Birthday Celebration - Christmas Shopping - Winter Wonderland ~DT

Woww!!!!!!!!!!!! Who would have guessed we would be around  that long??????
So a huge thank you to everyone that enters our challenges, it's you that keeps it going, and of course the bonus is you don't end up with a huge list of cards to make at the last minute for Christmas.  Our theme this week chosen by Iwona is 'A ribbon and a bow'

I decided to do something a little different here and made a 'Magic' card. Why is it magic? Because at first site it looks like a flat card.

I added a snowflake charm to the corner to give the hint that there is more to the card.  The picture background is from a set that Crafters Companion released last year. The lace and pearls are from my stash, and I added lots of glamour dust to the 'snow',

Showing the construction of the card

The inside made with a card insert from the same CC set.

We have three fabulous sponsors this week

Isobel -Thinking of spring - Crafty Sentiments - Any thing goes

Good morning. After a great weekend of relaxing I am really feeling more like myself, I was having major problems with my hip and knee, and not sleeping. I managed to get my cards made but I am only just writing them up now.
This is the first of 3 posts.
I was delighted to be asked to join the team at 'Crafty Sentiments' as a 6 month guest designer.
The have so many fabulous images on their site that you are spoiled for choice.
Fortunately I didn't have to choose for this one as we are showcasing a new release

She is cut with a SB adorning square and mounted onto coordinations card. I have added MB tree, butterfly swirl, floral border, grass edger and clouds.  Magnolia fene and cheery Lynn grass border.

I just colour washed the sky before adding the clouds

A view of the inside which has the addition of a Penny black sentiment stamped onto the middle.

Our prize this week is 3 digi stamps from the on line shop
