Penelope Poppy - Conie Fong - Fussy and Fancy Friday DT

Good morning and welcome to a new Challenge at Fussy and Fancy Friday blog.
The great theme chosen by Diane this week is 'A walk in the garden' so a million choices of what to do for this one.

I had to make a card for a friends daughter who is celebrating her 5th Birthday, and loves helping out in the garden. I will be adding a '5' to the front of the card and adding the verse to the inside.  I chose another Conie Fong image, 'Penelope Poppy' for the main image of the card.

I started by creating the background with Craft Artist, and added a sky line, path. flowers and garden gate, the I cut multi-colour butterflies, then really went back in time to add the different
colours of  flowersoft to the different types of flowers.  I haven't used these for years, apart from the white when highlighting snow.  I also added some Nuvo drops the the butterflies and red glitter to the centre of the poppies. The sentiment is from memory box.

A close up of the image which I fussy cut and coloured with Letraset markers.
The inside of the card is a picture of the house and grounds which is the same as the front of the card but has a personal message.

We have a prize of a Noor Design gift voucher
for the Lucky winner this week

The other ladies on the Fussy and Fancy team have some truly amazing cards for your inspiration  this week, as always, and you can find them here

Angel of Christmas stars - Conie Fong - PFP DT

Good evening, finally here to show my latest card for Passion for Promarkers where the theme chosen for this week by Hazel is Christmas in July. If you havent started your Christmas cards yet perhaps this will persuade you to get started as there are only 151 days to go :).
I have used a fabulous image from Conie Fong 'Angel of Christmas stars'  which can be found  here ............

She is cut using Tonic's Art Nouveau Oval dies. I used holographic silver mirror card, and the darkest die cut uses really ,dark green mirror card. The ribbon and dazzler are from my stash
the holly sprigs and berry ones on the inside are cut using Sue Wilson dies all of the berries are made using nuvo liquid pearls.

A close up, sorry it looks as if I have beached this one, but I was trying to get the glitter to show.  She is coloured with Tria Markers, Flex Markers and Promarkers. I then added silver nuvo glitter to her wings, gold to the poinsettias  and then used glossy accents to the snow globe

A side view.  I love the way the holographic card gives this  the look of a stained glass window.

and finally the inside                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                   We are being sponsored this week by

Little Polly - Dear Friend - Crafty Sentiments DT

Good morning, and welcome to the new Challenge at Crafty Sentiments. Anet is our hostess and she has chosen the theme of 'Anything Goes', how easy that can be while we are finally getting a little sunshine in England.

I have use the really sweet image 'Little Polly, Dear Friend' which can be found here, and just for a change it's all lilac and Purple.

I think she looks as if butter wouldn't melt in her mouth.
She is cut and layered using A Marianne Die. The little corners are Joanna Sheen, Ribbon, Dazzler and gems are from my stash, and I also used Wilted Violet  Distress ink, and not  even a little bit of glitter to be found anywhere :)

A close up of the inside, I love the pierced edges on these Marianne Dies but the dot stays in the die and has to be removed with a pokey tool

A view of the inside. The sentiment is from Penny Black, and the DP is from LOTV.

A  side view  which shows the true colours of this card.

I hope you will join in with our challenge this week where our usual prize of 3 Digi Images is waiting for the winner

I hope you will check out the projects the DT have made for your inspiration this week, they can all be found here

Ribbon and Sentiment layers from my satsh.

A close up to try to show the glitter. The snowman is covered with Glamour Dust and he has glossy acents to his eyes, nose and buttons. The birds have flowersoft on their ear muffs and hat.The trees also had flowersoft on their branches.

Good morning and welcome to another challenge at Passion for Promarkers.   Our hostess this week is the lovely Julie who has chosen the theme of 'Summer Days. You can check out her blog here I've been playing with some really old stamps that haven't sen the light of day for ages.

She really is a cutie, and for me this is an all about Summer image.  She is cut with a SB oval and mounted on another one.  The paper is ? from Nitwits. I made my own flowers and the butterfly is cut with a Cheery Lynn die.  The ribbon, bow, dazzler are from my stash.  The sentiment is cut with a Britannia die.

A close up to show the details. She is coloured with Flexmarkers, Triamarkers and Promarkers
with a little distress ink in the background

Flowers and Lace - Just Inklined - Fussy and Fancy DT

And onto my second late post (see the last post for reason. I can't believe how clumsy I am getting to be. I have arthritis in my hands and have problems with my grip, constantly dropping things.

Today is the start of the new fortnightly challenge at Fussy and Fancy Friday Challenge, and oh my you need to see the inspirational cards from the team, you can find them here .  Sheryl is our host for the challenge and chose the theme of Flowers and Lace.

I really do try to make 'fluffy' cards where nothing is straight and things hang over edges, but I never manage it. I don't know if it's due to 45 years of nursing where things had to be straight but here I go with another card which is regimented again :)

This is one of my favourite images and it can be used for so many reasons, It's 'Poppy Cluster' from just Inklined. The main image it cut with a SB Grand Circle, then I added one from the Tonic Rose collection, and then another from SB's Grand Decorative circles.
To complete this main plaque I added a red circle behind and a cream pearl strip.
The very wide lace border is a very old SB 'Heartfelt Creations' die, one of the first ones I ever bought. The 'Art Deco/Rennie Macintosh' inspired corners from Memory Box. The ribbon and resin flower, and pearls  are from my stash. The Sentiment is from LOTV.

This is view of the inside of the card. I used another part of the Tonic rose set.

An angled view of the card front.

We are being sponsored this week by Sweet Lilac Flowers
and they are offering a special prize for the winner,

So that's it.  It's up to you now.  I bet you have lot's of Flowers, lace and dies just waiting for you to use them  Thanks for taking the time to look

James Snowman - LOTV - Winter Wonderland DT

Good morning, I'm late with my post today, but finally here :)  Last night I made a discovery.......  'keyboards' don't like to drink milk. I thought it would be okay this morning, but half of my keys were sticking :(  It had to happen just when I sat down to write my post for two DT's for today. So just back from the retail park.

Today at Winter Wonderland we have Anet as our host, and she has chosen the theme of 'Snow much fun' and as we are now having two themes every week the alternative is 'Use 3 Embelishments'.
I have used an image from LOTV called James Snowman. He is straight cut and mounted onto rainbow mirror card, and the DP's are also from LOTV's Nitwits papers.
The holly dies are from Sue Wilson, trees are Joy dies, and merry Christmas is a Dynamics die. Ribbon Dazzler and gems are from my stash.

A close up of the image where I have used Flowersoft and glamour dust on his hat, Ice Crystals on the snow they are standing on, and the snowman has a coating of sparkle pen from Crafter's Companion. The edges have distress ink applied.

A view of the inside where I have used a SB snowflake die and a magazine freebie for the sentiment .

We are being sponsored this week by Crafts u love who are giving the winner a £10 voucher to the lucky winner.
