Goldie - Sylvia Zet - Wee Stamps

Can I start by welcoming my new follower, thanks for taking the time to follow my blog.

Today I'm showing my last card for the Wee Stamps June Guest Designers. I have enjoyed my time so much as I adore Sylvia's work.  I have chosen to use 'Goldie' available as a digi here and in rubber from Whimsy stamps here.
I have used this image before but wasn't really pleased with the finished result, have to say I am much happier with this one.

She is cut using SB decorative labels 1. The background is stamp from Sassy Studio's 'Under the Sea' which I think makes a perfect backing for her. The backing paper is from Nitwits. Sentiment from Joanna Sheen. Seaweed is a MS punch. Some of the shells are real and some are from a Craft Artist digi kit.  The netting is from a fruit punnet :). Pearls from my stash.

She is coloured with Promarker, Flexmarkers and Tria markers. I added glamour dust everywhere and glossy accents to the bubbles. I wish I could get all the sparkle to really show.

The inside does reflect the front.

I would like to take this opportunity to thank Sylvia and Mariska for having me on their team for June.  The other girls made totally fabulous cards and I am sure they are as sad as me that their time is over.  I always look forward to seeing Sylvia's new releases and know that many more of her images will appear on my blog.

Wee One - Sylvia Zet - Wee Stamps - GDT for June

If you are looking for my TPS post it's the one below.

I really am like a bad penny at the moment, but as you can see I have been busy. Thankfully I only have to work this morning and then I'm off for a week, so I promise to really get caught up with my blogging :)

I ADORE this new image from Sylvia Zet. It's perfect for a boy or girl and is so easy to colour up.  It's available as a digi here, or as a rubber stamp from the Whimsy store here.

I decided to make a boy's card. The image is cut using SB labels one with a decorative labels one behind it. I also added SB rick-rack border and Cheery Lynn corners.  The sentiment was a magazine freebie cut with MFT fishtail stax. Ribbon pearls and charms from my stash.  The button is a wooden one covered with frantage.  Backing paper from a stack I bought years ago.

He is coloured with Promarkers, Flexmarkers and Tria Markers. I also added DI to the background and stickles to the edge of the trim.

The inside does match the front.

I'm sure this gorgeous image is going to appear many times in challenges where the theme is babies. I hope when you buy it you will have as much fun colouring him/her up as much as I did.

The Beautiful Flight Attendant - The Paper Shelter - TPS DT

Good morning everyone, today sees the start of a new challenge at The Paper Shelter and our theme this weeks is 'buttons/and or brads'.
I chose to use of the new releases 'The Beautiful Flight Attendant'. She is just so cute. Sorry about the quality of the pictures it was grey and overcast all day.

She is cut using SB Romantic Rectangles and all other pieces are just straight cut. The backing paper comes with the image. The little images are from a set I got years ago on Create and Craft. Ribbon, brads and charm from my stash.

She is coloured with Promarkers, Flexmarkers and Tria Markers with  DI to the background. I also added Glossy Accents to her shoes, buttons and lips.

The inside matches the front.

As usual the very generous Veronica and Pedro are offering a $30 voucher if you used a TPS image or 3 images of your choice for any other entry.

Do  pop over and see the other gorgeous cards the DT have made for your inspiration and I hope you will enter the challenge

Sweet Sparkle - Sylvia Zet - Wee Stamps

Hi everyone, back again this time to showcase one of the latest designs by the oh so talented Sylvia Zet. She has two new releases for Whimsy stamps today and I am sure you are going to love them both. For today's card I have used 'Sweet Sparkle'. I fell in love with her as soon as I saw her, and she has been waiting for a couple of weeks to appear.

I have kept her fairly simple to make sure she was the main focus of the card. She is cut using the outer edge of a SB adorning square mounted onto a grand square. The corner is from Joy Crafts and the stars are actually cut from the new MB die with the bows cut off. Copious amounts of diamond sparkles and stickles. Pearl and ribbon (irl it is much darker) from my stash. The sentiment was a freebie and is cut with a MFT  Fishtail flag.

She is of course coloured with Promarkers, Flexmarkers, Triamarkers and Prisma pencils. I do wish I could get glitter to show as it does in real life.

I have decorated the inside to match the front.

I hope you will visit Sylvia's blog to check out these new releases and the other samples the DT have made for your inspiration.  The image is available in digital form here, and from Whimsy as a rubber stamp here.

Flower Fairies 2 - Sylvia Zet - Wee Stamps - PFP DT

Good morning everyone, I finally reappear. Can I start by apologising for my long absence.  I have to admit I haven't been too great after my hols.  Settling to taking insulin is not the piece of cake I thought it would be. Thankfully I am starting to feel better now.
Welcome to my 3 new followers, hopefully you will now have more to actually view on my blog.
Today sees the start of a new challenge at Passion for Promarkers where I got to choose the theme.  As you can tell from my cards I love flowers (have another order on the way from WOC as they have a sale on atm) today's challenge, Floral Fantasy, is to use more than 5 flowers on your card, pretty easy for most people.
I have used another Sylvia Zet image, Flower Fairies 2, I really do love these images. This one is available as a digi here and in rubber here.

Isn't she just the sweetest image. For a change I decided to make a shaped card and cut it with SB Grand labels 1 and cut one of the mats with grand decorative labels 1.
The flowers are a mix of WOC and some from my stash. The sentiment is from Wild Rose Studios. Butterfly from My Crafty Heart. Pearls from my stash.

She is of course coloured with Promarkers,Flexmarkers, Triamarkers and Prisma pencils.

The inside reflects the front.

I do hope you will join in with our challenge this week where the Digi Stamp Boutique are offering 6 images of your choice to the winner.

The other girls have made some fabulous cards for your inspiration so I hope you pop over and see their gorgeous cards.

Amy - Sylvia Zet - Wee Stamps - PFP DT.

If this has scheduled correctly it should be Tuesday morning and I should be lying on a Turkish beach.
I was thrilled to be chosen as a guest designer for June for Wee stamps, and this will be the first of many of their images I will be using.  They are available as digital images here, or as rubber stamps from the Whimsy stamp store here.

Today see's the start of a new challenge over at Passion for Promarkers where our theme this week is 'All that Glitters'.  I have used the beautiful Wee Amy.

She is cut using SB Labels 25 with a faux nestie behind her. I mounted these onto glitter card embossed with the Mystic folder, but the glitter doesn't show in the pictures :(
Flowers from WOC and The Hobby House. Bling and ribbon from my stash.

She is of course coloured with Promarkers, Flexmarkers, Triamarkers and Prisma Pencils, and I added distress ink to the background and stardust stickles everywhere.

The inside does match the front.

We are being sponsored by Letraset this month who are offering a Flexmarker collectors set as our prize this week

I do hope you will pop over and see the cards the other DT girls have made for your inspiration this week.

Thanks for taking the time to look and hope you're having good weather

Cute Nurse - The Paper Shelter

Again it took me a week to appear. I offer sincere apologies for not getting round your blogs. I went away for a few days to chill out at a friends and got back yesterday. Have to admit to feeling tired most of the time and the headaches come and go. Thank goodness I'm off to Turkey on Sunday for a week of relaxing in the sun.

If it wasn't for DT commitments I don't think I would be making many cards.
Today sees the start of a new challenge over at The Paper Shelter where our theme this week is 'Shape it up! (Make a card that isn't square or rectangular) or an easel card '

For a change I decided to do something new for me and that's to make a tag.  I used an adorable image from the 'Cute Nurse's' digi, but only used one of them (This was me about 40 years ago and that was about the colour of my hair then)

Isn't she a cutie? I cut her using SB long rectangle and long scalloped rectangle.  The sentiment is from LOTV. The tag is one I bought at the Harrogate show. Flowers from WOC. leaves and butterflies are MS punches. Ribbons and pearls from my stash. Spun Sugar DI around everything and Stardust Stickles added to the butterflies and flowers.

She is of course coloured with Promarkers, Flexmarkers and Triamarkers with a little prisma pencil for definition. I also added glossy accents to the medicine glass and bottle but it doesn't show in the pictures.

Our prize this week as always from the generous Veronica and Pedro is a $30 gift certificate if you use a TPS image, or 3 digi's of your choice for any other image.

I hope you will join us this week and also pop over and see what the other DT girls have made for your inspiration.

Over the Threshold - LOTV - PFP DT

Good morning everyone. Finally I appear again. It wasn't good news at the surgery last week, I have to start on insulin when I get back from my holidays. So that's probably where all my headaches are coming from, high blood sugar levels.  Have to admit I haven't felt much like blogging or making cards, so it's a good job being on a design team makes you have to make them.
For today's card I used  LOTV's Over the Threshold to make a requested card.

I decided to go with a cream card rather than the traditional white. I used an embossing folder I got with the Ebosser to make the background. The image is cut with a SB labels 4 with a faux nestie behind it. This is then mounted onto a Marianne Anja square. The corners, border and sentiment mount are all Fleur De Lis Accents.Flowers from WOC and everything else from my stash.

They are of course coloured with Promarkers and Triamarkers, with distress ink around the edges.

The matt gold mirror card shows a little better on this one and the stickles I added to her petticoat and the flowers.

Onto this week's theme and we have a very special challenge for you this week as it's our 4th Anniversary at PFP.  As it's a special challenge we have a really easy theme for you of "anything goes", although please note we are only accepting a maximum of 3 entries per person for this one challenge only.  To be eligible for our prize draw you must use your Letraset products (i.e. pro, flex, tria, aqua, metallic or neon markers) and of course follow the theme.  As always we have some fantastic prizes up for grabs and our sponsors have been very generous as usual .  Here we go.....

I Won - The Paper Shelter DT

Good morning everyone and welcome to my 3 new followers, so happy and honored that you decided to join.
My apologies to everyone for being missing in action but I have not been on best form.  Headaches most days, I think due to the change in medication. Thankfully I am back at the doctor's on Thursday and hope I will get it sorted out. No energy and no mojo here.
Enough of my moaning, today sees the start of a new challenge at The Paper Shelter, and one I am sure everyone will love as it's 'Anything goes'.
I used an image that came out a couple of weeks ago called 'I Won', very appropriate for this time of year with the BAFTA's and Oscar's.

Isn't she just a star !  She is cut using SB Timeless Rectangle. The Rennie Macintosh rose is one I bought from ebay about 2 years ago and turned up when I was searching for something else. Its cut from shiny black card and looks like black lacquer. I also used this for the leaves and mount. Flowers from WOC and black pearls and backing paper from my stash.

She is of course coloured with Promarkers, Flexmarkers, Triamarkers and Prisma pencils. I also added glitter to the statue, handbag and her earrings.

The inside does match the front, and this also shows the diamond stickles on the roses.

I do hope you will join in with this weeks challenge where the amazing Veronica and Pedro are again offering $30 of products if you use a TPS image, or 3 images of your choice for any others.

Dont' forget to pop over to see the wonderful cards the other DT girls have made for your inspiration.
