Good morning everyone, and welcome to my new followers on Bloglovin. Today I have a new card for the Winter Wonderland Challenge were our theme this week is 'Gold'. It can be anywhere on your project, but it must be visible.
I have used the really cute Xmas Hamster from Wee Stamps. Sylvia really does draw beautiful images.
As you can see I went over the top with gold. The image is cut using SB lables 28 with a faux nestie behind it. I mounted onto some Hunkydory gold spotted card. The poinsettia corner and merry Christmas are from Memory Box. Ribbon, brad, bells and gems from my stash.
I coloured him with Chameleon pens but after trying them a few times I have returned them to Create and Craft as I found them too fussy to work with when trying to get good blends. I added some Prisma pencil for more detail and some distress ink to the edges. I also added gold glamour dust and white flower soft and some glaze to his nose and eyes.
When cutting the poinsettia I added tape to the back to keep the petals in the die cut.
The inside has a Marriane poinsettia and the verse is from LOTV cut with a WRS frame.
Our sponsors this week are;-
Marianne Designs with a surprise for the lucky winner
and Delicious Doodles who are offering 4 digi's of your choice
The other girls on the Snowflakes team have made some gorgeous cards for your inspiration this week I hope you will take time to view them here.
Don't forget your project has to have a Christmas theme. Thanks for taking the time to look
