Good morning everyone. Today is the start of a new challenge at Winter Wonderland where the lovely Carol is hosting the theme ' A touch of gold or silver' this can be your image or an embellishment.
I have used a LOTV stamp 'Christmas Star', one of my favourites.
I certainly used some silver mirror board on this one :). She is straight cut and mounted onto a WRS snowflake frame. The poinsettia and holly branches are Sue Wilson dies. The sentiment is MB, ribbon from the Ribbon Girls and pearls from my stash.
She is coloured with Triamarkers, Flexmarkers and Promarkers. I added copious amounts of Glamour Dust to the stars, tree and ground, and added some flowersoft to it for the 'fur' on her coat. The background was airbrushed with my EBrush.
Everything is mounted onto some navy shimmer card. IRL it really does look really sparkly. I finally remembered to add some 'Stick it' (from Crafter's Companion) to the back of the card before cutting the dies. Really easy to use and no glue oozing out.
The inside does reflect the front .
We are being sponsored this week by the lovely Michele of MR Designs. She is offering the lucky winner a voucher for 20 euros to spend in store on her beautiful backing papers and embellishments
I hope you will take the time to visit the Winter Wonderland blog and also visit the other team snowflakes sites to see the fabulous cards they have made for your inspiration this week. Don't forget it has to be a Christmas project.
Thanks for taking the time to look
